After the visit to the Moon Village, the Shu brothers once again rode their War Horses and went straight to 'The Hunters' Plateau.

The two were supposed to join Shu Liang and the two disciples in the Darkwood Forest to train the team's offensive and defensive formations.

However when they got home, Qai first thought of checking all the items in the three spatial rings he got from the bandits.

To his surprise, he found a certain map in one of the spatial rings which was probably from the leader of the group.

When he showed it to Shu Wei and Shu Wu, all three of them were of the belief that the map must either pertain to the exact location of the bandits main encampment or to a location of a treasure.

The three of them could not decide whether to divulge this new information to Han Valley or not—the Shu family's team could take advantage of what they found should it turn out to be a treasure map.

However, should the map be the encampment's exact location, then it was more logical to share the information to Han Valley to make a strategic attack.

In the end, Qai suggested something to compromise their dilemma.

"Father..," Qai said, "let's just keep this map for ourselves.. after all we are not really certain what is it about.."

Shu Wu was about to inquire something but Qai was quick to continue.

"However..," he went on, "..we could also divulge a bit of information."

"Eh."

"What do you mean?" his father asked.

"We could duplicate this map and show only the features of the terrain but erase the marks in the map," Qai said.

His father and big brother was dumfounded by the idea.

Indeed, by only concealing the natural structure of the place, the entire forces the Han Valley could muster would still be able to properly plan their attack ahead.

But since the Shu family would be keeping the special marks in the map, they would definitely have the opportunity to take advantage of the situation should those marks turned out to be valuable locations.

"That way we will have the most important information to our advantage," Qai explained.

After the three finished discussing their own plans, Qai then called for Shen and instructed him to deliver all the spatial rings and other valuables they found inside the rings to Old Yu to store them in the Treasury Hall.

Meanwhile, the Han Valley had been receiving a good number of notices from cultivators around the area intending to participate the bandit extermination ever since they released the detailed information about the event.

The town chief obviously got excited with the development. She then called the attention of many of the business establishments in the town to restock their supplies in the coming days. The town would naturally be receiving lots of guests anytime soon.

And as part of the deal, she asked some of the towns people to put up two small shops in the town square to be used by the Mo Clan and 'The Hunters' Plateau.'

"Let us all hope that all these preparations would end in success," the Han Valley chief told one of his elders.

The elder nodded in approval before he made his reply.

"Our town has lost a lot in these past months..," he said. "We should grab this opportunity to help us recover.."

"How I wish those bandits have stored a lot of treasures..," the chief said. "So we have to act discreetly and fast.. we cannot let the bandits have the opportunity to prepare for our attack."

"I heard people are talking about 'exterminating' us," a bandit reported to his fellow bandits.

"Ha ha ha.. I say let them come," arrogantly replied by one of the higher official of the group.

The group of bandits were sarcastically mocking their adversaries until a few words changed their mood.

"I heard one of our captains was slain during a raid..," another one remarked.

All of a sudden a burst of vengeance could be felt in the atmosphere. Normally, the death of an ordinary member would not mean much to the bandits but it was a different matter altogether when a high ranking official would be killed—because that would entail a sudden decrease in strength.

"The boss would definitely call for us soon..," the official seriously said.

All the others who heard his words agreed. It was obvious that the bandits would not sit idly with their loss.

"So you better prepare the boys..," he added as he instructed one of them. "You'll never know what the boss has in mind."

'Too bad we lost a copy of the map.. the enemies would definitely take advantage of it,' the official thought to himself.

The low ranking officials had no idea of the existence of the map and the official wouldn't let them know either that a copy just got lost.

'We better hurry and prepare.. enemies may attack anytime.'
