Chapter 103: 103

It was early afternoon when the five wagons and carriage arrived in Tardide, the villages were all awestruck when they saw the five wagons filled to the brim with supplies.
When Jayde saw all the villagers descending on all of them, she quickly bid Elder Ryunzo and Master Whitestone farewell, stating that she had to return to check on Reiko, and with that, she quickly escaped.
Happy to be away from the crowd of people Jayde made her way back to the cavern where Reiko and the silver dragons were. She had really missed Reiko and had worried about anyone stumbling upon the four silver dragons. While she could sense Reiko through their bond, she disliked that she had been too far away to be of much assistance should they have run into any trouble.
As Jayde entered the cavern, Reiko came bouncing over.
[Jayde!] he called out happily.
Leaning down to give Reiko a hug, Jayde was relieved to see everyone was safe. The three wyrmlings seeing that Jayde was home, came running up to her really happy to see her.
Reaching down Jayde have each one of them a cuddle. Shenxin and Huaxin were really happy their food mama was back, she had been gone for ages. Both of them clutched her legs as afraid that if they let go she would disappear again.
Laughing gently at the two small little dragons Jayde picked them up, little Tianxin whined when she saw the preferential treatment her brother and sister were getting, so Jayde moved Shenxin to her shoulder and bent and picked up the little dragon.
"Whoa, you guys have gotten heavy" Jayde commented.
Jayde was really cheerful that these little guys were looking so much healthier.
"Yinxin, I'm home," Jayde said as she walked up to the silver dragon.
[Welcome back young Jayde, we all missed you] Yinxin said warmly.
"Was everything okay while I was gone?" Jayde asked with a touch of concern in her voice.
[We were all fine, they just all missed you a lot] Yinxin said her voice laced with laughter.
Jayde was touched with the affection that the little dragons and Reiko showered her with. She hadn't ever really had a family and although the Centauri were her people, she was their leader so they had always treated her with respect but had kept her at a distance.
Even Lawrence who Jayde had always viewed as a brother had never shown her any affection. So this is what it feels like to have a family Jayde thought to herself.
Jayde spent the rest of the afternoon playing with the wyrmlings and Reiko, their antics often causing Yinxin to burst out laughing.
When the three little guys curled up to their mother for a nap after being tired out by Jayde. Jayde then turned to Reiko and Yinxin.
"Okay time for dinner, what do you guys want?" Jayde asked the two.
[Barbecue!] the two of them said simultaneously.
Slapping her forehead, Jayde just shook her head, she didn't know why she even bothered to ask.
After preparing a huge amount of barbecue for the two, the three of them sat down for dinner, Jayde fed a tiny piece of barbecue to the three small wyrmlings, who just like their mother had developed a love for barbecue, but Jayde was worried that they were still too young to eat it, so she only gave them a small piece each, much to their discontentment.
Afterward, Jayde removed a couple of cakes that she had bought in Oldstrand for Yinxin and Reiko to try, which both of them declared were the best that they have ever eaten. Not that Jayde took their compliments seriously as every time she gave them desserts they always declared that it was the best.
For the next couple of days, Jayde spent all her time with the dragons and Reiko. She and Reiko hunted and foraged in the forest, and since her most of her skins were now ready Jayde made herself a number of new outfits.
The leathers had come out really soft and supple so Jayde was really pleased with her new outfits, and since her body was now well looked after Jayde had started to develop, her body taking on more of a woman shape, with her chest now developing Jayde had to make herself some underwear, it took her a while to figure out the best way, but she eventually ended up with a corset like bra that was comfortable to wear and wouldn't impede her fighting.
Three days later Jayde decided to return to the village to see how they were getting along, she also wanted to drop off the plans for the harvester with Master Whitestone. Taking Reiko with her, they made their way through the forest to Tardide.
Walking down the streets of Tardide, Jayde was amazed at the difference in the village, the village was bustling with activity. Most of the men were busy fixing up the homes of the villagers, the young women were bustling around cooking food and delivery snacks and drinks. The old men and women were sitting around gossiping, while the old women stitched new clothing.
Seeing Jayde and Reiko, everyone stopped and called out greetings before returning to their tasks, the old women called her over to chat, while spoiling Reiko by giving him plates of cakes and different tarts.
After chatting with the old women for a while Jayde excused herself to find Master Whitestone. Walking over to his smithy she knocked on his door. Master Whitestone was really happy to see Jayde standing outside his smithy when he opened his door, quickly he invited her in.
After Jayde declined his offer of tea (she was still full from being stuffed by the old women), Jayde handed over the designs for the harvester, and the two of them chatted about design. Once Jayde was satisfied that Master Whitestone understood everything she left the building of the harvester in his hands and left to find Elder Ryunzo.
Once Jayde arrived at Elder Ryunzo's home, Mrs. Ryunzo invited her in, looking relieved that Jayde was there. Mrs. Ryunzo quickly led Jayde to a small guest room, telling her that Elder Ryunzo was busy with the old Mage.
After opening the door to the small room, Mrs. Ryunzo turned around and quickly fled. Jayde was slightly confused with Mrs. Ryunzo's actions. But once Jayde entered the room, she quickly understood Mrs. Ryunzo's strange behavior. Elder Ryunzo and Rainer were busy arguing with each other quite loudly and it seemed like they had been going at it for a while.
After listening to them for a while, and seeing that both of them hadn't noticed her — Jayde finally interrupted their heated argument.
Hearing Jayde voice Elder Ryunzo turned around in surprise.
"Jayde you finally here," he said enthusiastically.
"Rainer old man, here this is the young Mage I have been telling you about" Elder Ryunzo said point to Jayde.
"Jayde this here is Mage Rainer Gaires, my old mentor."
"Mage Rainer a pleasure to meet you, I have heard a lot about you," Jayde said politely.
"Just call me Rainer, I am no longer a Mage," Rainer Gaires said his voice slightly bitter.
Jayde smiled uncomfortably not quite sure what to say to the old man.
"I could hear the two off you arguing a mile away," Jayde said exaggerating the fact.
