Lin Chu’s mouth opened slightly as she gasped for air, her lips shimmering with anticipation. Her eyes were glazed over, and before she knew it, she was consumed with passion. She soon buried herself in Yan Beicheng’s arms. Even though she knew they were not supposed to be intimate during this time, she could not help herself.
Maybe it was because it was her birthday, but Lin Chu had planned to let Yan Beicheng have his fill of fun with her tonight. However, she did not expect to be pregnant.
Yan Beicheng was finding it much more difficult to restrain himself with Lin Chu throwing herself at him. His thin lips gently brushed against her ears as he kissed the hairs thinly covering her ear. His husky voice made the hair on her neck stand on end. “You want it too?”
Lin Chu’s face reddened all over but she nodded honestly. She looked at Yan Beicheng with some embarrassment as her eyelashes gently fanned over her face. She trembled slightly as she looked up, the shy look in her eyes making her look like a little white bunny. Yan Beicheng’s heart skipped a beat when he saw her adorably shy look – he was itching to have her.
Yan Beicheng gulped as his breathing got heavier and he kissed her heavily on the lips. Only when she could hardly catch her breath did Yan Beicheng let go of her. His thin, burning lips slowly moved down from her mouth, and Lin Chu bit her lips as she could not stop herself from moaning. She did not dare to let out her voice and could only grip the bedsheet tightly in response. She felt herself go weak as her strength slowly seeped away.
She was like a rootless flower floating on the surface of the water. She blossomed red with life as her flower buds were watered with rain. She may look fragile and weak but she was lovable. The ambrosia on her petals was so seductive, that one could not help but to reach out and have a taste. Those who plucked the pink lotus could take in its aroma first-hand while in the drizzling rain. After putting one of its petals in the mouth, one could taste the sweet fragrance released by its gentle bloom.

Lin Chu was so out of breath that she felt like she had almost died in Yan Beicheng’s arms. In addition to this, she was sweating all over.
Yan Beichehng held Lin Chu’s hands as he said intensely with his husky voice, “It’s my turn, help me with my release.”
Lin Chu could hardly move but she was not an ungrateful person. Thus, she picked herself up and turned over to Yan Beicheng.

As they were staying in the old mansion, Lin Chu made herself set the alarm even though she could hardly open her eyes. Her phone’s alarm rang at 7 am the next day.
Lin Chu quickly turned off the alarm and was about to get out of bed when Yan Beicheng flipped onto her and held her down. He buried his face into her neck and nuzzled her. “What time is it?”
As he spoke, she felt his breath all over her neck. It was ticklish.
Lin Chu wanted to scratch her neck but could not get her hands to it. All she could do was try to shrink away from Yan Beicheng, which he did not allow her to do.
As she tried to shrink away, he got closer to her.
“It’s 7 am. You can continue sleeping,” Lin Chu said gently.
“What are you doing up so early? You should continue sleeping,” Yan Beicheng mumbled.
“I can’t. Grandpa and grandma are early risers. It’s not nice for us to be sleeping in so lazily like this,” Lin Chu said as she attempted to remove Yan Beicheng’s arms from her waist.
“They won’t mind at all. After all, they did instruct you to sleep in. It’s only 7 am and you’ve only slept for six hours. That’s not enough rest for you so be a good girl and sleep another hour,” replied Yan Beicheng.
“We can’t let grandpa and grandma wait for us to have breakfast,” Lin Chu did not live here and was not about to let the two elders think that she was a lazy woman. They might misunderstand and assume that she did not take good care of Yan Beicheng.
“You’re pregnant. Grandma won’t allow you to wake up so early, so just be a good girl and listen to me,” Yan Beicheng said as he raised his hands to pinch Lin Chu’s lips together, shutting her up just as she was about to reply.
Right at that moment, Lin Chu heard movement outside the door.
It sounded like Old Lady Yan and Old Master Yan coming out of their bedroom. She could hear Old Lady Yan lowering her voice to say, “Xiao Chen, don’t wake Beicheng and Lin Chu up for breakfast. Let them sleep in longer and just let them wake up whenever.”
“Okay,” Aunt Chen replied.
Yan Beicheng smiled. “What did I tell you? Just go back to sleep. If you wake up this early, the old lady of the house is going to give you a good lecture.”
Lin Chu could not help but agree with what he was saying, so she closed her eyes and went back to sleep while hugging Yan Beicheng.
It was past 9 am by the time they woke up. This time, Lin Chu would not go back to sleep.
She said, “Yan Huaian and his family will be here soon. We can’t still be asleep when they arrive. We need to give the old principal a call too since we came back in the middle of the night and did not have enough time to inform her about it.”
Yan Beicheng finally relented upon looking at the time.
When they had washed up and gone to the living room, they realized that Old Master Yan and Old Lady Yan were nowhere to be found.
“Where’s the old master and old mistress?” Yan Beicheng asked Aunt Chen.
Aunt Chen had a confused look on her face. “The old master and old mistress went out for some exercise this morning. They came back for breakfast and left the house again afterward.”
Aunt Chen could not bear to tell him that the two elders had gone out walking with an expression of ‘I have happy news, but I cannot share it with you’ on their faces. It was quite a sad thing to see.
“Lin Chu, what do you want to have for breakfast? I’ll make it for you,” Aunt Chen said.
“What did grandpa and grandma have this morning?” Lin Chu asked to gather some inspiration.
“Freshly grounded soybean milk and some fried dough fritters. The oil used in outside stalls is not clean, so I cook it myself. Old master and old mistress don’t usually take oily food anymore, but they do occasionally crave for it,” Aunt Chen smiled as she said.
It sounded appetizing to Lin Chu so she asked, “Do you still have some?”
“I do. I’ve set aside some freshly grounded soybean milk for you in case you’d like to have some hot too. If you don’t want it, I can leave it for tonight as a facial cleanser. I always keep some frozen dough fritters in the fridge so that I can fry it up at a moment’s notice without needing to make it from scratch every time. If you’d like some, they’re ready-made so I can bring them out now,” Aunt Chen said.
