The elevator soon arrived at the Public Relations Department’s floor. The two people went out of the elevator in a daze after being overwhelmed with shock. Zheng Yuntong was about to head out as well but was dragged back in by Shen Zongyi.

He led her through a lot of departments on their way there. They were showered by astonished gazes as they paraded around their newfound relationship.

This was the first time she had been to his office and it felt strange. She had been his colleague for a long time, and they had gotten closer lately, but she had never once been here. It was probably because there was never a time when they needed to have direct contact before this.
His office was simple. It had a two-seat sofa for visitors, a round coffee table, and a desk with two computers on it. One was a laptop, and the other was a desktop. There were no other personal objects on the table.
Everything in the office was very business oriented. It looked cold and serious, just like the impression he had always given out.
Zheng Yuntong blushed and made a stifled sound. “Um.”
Shen Zongyi chuckled at her. Why did she become more restrained after they had started dating?
However, he did not feel that she was alienating herself, and there was a sense of closeness between them now. It was an odd sensation for him.

It had a bit of a Chinese medicine smell to it, but it was not at all pungent. It had a whiff of mint to it as well, and it made the ointment more pleasant to the nose. It felt cold on the skin, but her muscles became more relaxed, and after a brief moment of pain, it began to subside.
After applying the cream, she indeed felt much better.
He read through the instructions on the box and said, “It says applying it once a day is enough. So, I’ll apply it again at noon tomorrow.”
Zheng Yuntong smiled glowingly after being cared for so meticulously.
Shen Zongyi felt warm as well as he looked at her after putting the tube of ointment down.

He heaved a sigh of satisfaction.
He paused a while before asking a question, “Will this scare you, us moving too fast?”
The villain inside Zheng Yuntong’s mind was putting on a big show in her head when he asked this. She was sprawled out on her back on the sofa and was shouting fiercely, ‘Come on! Nothing is too fast, feel free to do what you like!’
Nevertheless, her whole face was still red, and she could not utter a single word. She bit her lip slightly with a satisfied smile in her eyes. Even though she was not talking, Shen Zongyi understood Zheng Yuntong’s response and smiled widely as well. His eyes filled with joy as he had never felt such warmth and satisfaction before.
He took a deep breath as he put a bit of distance between them. Then, he proceeded to fix Zheng Yuntong’s attire for her.
Zheng Yuntong sat idly as she watched Shen Zongyi do this for her. Even so, her heart was beating like crazy.
“Would you like to stay here for a while?” Shen Zongyi asked. Her lips looked a little swollen, so returning to the Public Relations Department in her current state would be unprofessional.
He did not want her to experience her colleagues’ glares if she were to return right now. The last thing he wanted was for her to hang her head in shame due to their mocking.
