Proposal 21
There are some journalists from Denmark that is spying the Prince's moves. He is on the bushes hiding while filming the Prince's secret proposal to his beloved. He can't hear them clearly because he is a bit far from them and he can only zoom in the camera.
"You know that I'm not a Princess and a royal something." She told.
"You have a royal blood but, does it matter? I am here kneeling in front of you asking for your answer."
She was silent for a while and she is staring down into his eyes. He was sincere and he is not lying on his own words.
"Do you need the answer now?" she asked. "I barely know you and you've just asked me to marry you. Besides, I am just seven—ah eighteen and too young to get married. I got plans in my life—"
"I don't care if you are just eighteen. All I care is I don't want anyone but you. Because I love you and everything I am doing is for you..."
"Okay," she breathes.
"Okay, what?" he asked.
"I need time and I want to know you before I jump to this situation. It's hard for me to be in unplanned things."
"So the answer is maybe?" he asked.
"All I know is there's no such answer as maybe in proposal. My answer is not no and not yes, but I need to think this clearly. Got it?" Edmond smiles on what she said. There's a big hope from her. He stood and he pulls something from his pocket. He removed the ring from the box and he put it on the chain of the necklace with a pendant of heart-shape locket.
"I clearly got it, love." He said and calling her love makes him enthusiastic. "Just put it on if ever you made up your mind. And it fits on your ring finger because I had fit it on my pinky." He said. "My mum told me that if the ring of a lady had fits on the man's pinky, they are meant to be." He explains. She just raises her eyebrow. He stepped closer to her and he put the necklace on her. He fixed her hair and he caressed it looking into her unmatched eyes. "Vitoria," he calls there's a silence.
"Yes?" she breathes.
"I love you." he said it again. She didn't respond. She don't need to, it's okay to him. All he wanted is to let her know, that he loves her, ever since. "You have everything you want in this world and I can't give you whatever you already have, but now I am giving myself to you. Now, I am giving my heart and now, I am giving my love to you, my love."
She smiles a little and then she just turns impassive. That's a very wonderful punch-line that makes her smile. But there's no need in some smiling for crazy love. She is going to interrogate him.
"Slap me or punch me, I will kiss you right now." He said moving his face to her, concentrating on her lips. He wrapped his left arm around her waist to pull her and the other scooped her jaw.
"Since when did you asked permission for a kiss?" she asked. He smiles with giggles.
"I am just stating what I am going to do."
Before she says anything he kissed her lips clipping her lower lips by his lips and he parted her lips by his tongue and kissed her in French style kiss. She closed her eyes and she wrapped her arms around his nape while her fingers are scooping the back of his hair pulling him to her so that the kiss will go deep. He can't help to smile and she gasped between their kiss. He gripped on her waist and kissed her all over again. Prince, the dog is just sitting watching them all this time.
He pushed her up and twirls her around while their lips didn't leave each other. He was so happy that he can kiss her all over again which it feels like their first kiss. Prince started barking and Edmond had opened his eyes not leaving her lips peeking on Prince who is barking at them.
Gia stopped and she tilts her head back but he move forward to kiss her again. He holds her back pulling her to him. She pressed her forefinger on his lips that make him giggles. He was so happy and everything is like fairytale.
"You don't even know my deepest darkest secret..." she whispers looking down into his lips.
"We are going to start knowing each other, now." He told caressing her hair. She shook her head and smirked.
"No one can know my secrets."
"Okay, I understand you. I will make you tell me your secret by my charm." He smiles playfully.
"Do you have a charm?" she asked him sardonically. He rolled his eyes.
"Every woman wanted me, if you only know about that."

"I wanted to walk with you here in Garden." He said removing the cloak putting it on her and tying it in front. He holds her hand and he pulls her hand to insist on walking by him. They walk around the big maze garden. Prince walks with them barking at Edmond. "Don't be jealous little guy, I love you too." He winked at the dog. The dog whimpers and barks walking back with his feet at the back keeping his balance.
"I think he's drunk." Gia said.
"It's normal on drinking champagne." He winked at her. "Can I ask you personal questions?" he asked.
"Yes, since that this is the start of knowing each other." She said.
"Why are you rejecting your suitors?" he asked glancing at her.
"Because, I don't like them." she answers glancing back at him.

"The answer is based on letting you court me."

She slipped her hand from him and she went to the table to get some punch. She removed the cloak and she gave it back to Edmond. She went to the table of her granddads and sat on the vacant chair. "Hey I'm back," she smiled.
"So... what's with the..." Henry (Ares father) prolongs. She looked at him quizzical.
"What did Prince Edmond gave to you?" Zeus asked frankly.
"A locket and a ring." She told sipping on her punch. The old men nods and they looked at each other. "Can I try that whiskey? I told you that I will go back next time and that next time... is this time." She said.
"Sure," Trevor put a small amount of whiskey on the martini glass. She sipped a little and she closed her eyes hard.

"Yes and that is whiskey." Henry said. "It's from England." She drank it again and swallowed it though it's hot in the throat. She felt a little dizzy so she drank her punch.

"Gia what did I told you about drinking it?" Ares scold at her who just appear at her side.
"Daddy, whiskey is usquebaugh in Irish which means "water of life" so drinking it is not illegal."
"But it is a strong beverage so you can't drink it just like that."

"We need you in apple relay." Ken said.

"C'mon, you and your escort should join the game." Eris said (Eros" daughter. Eros is Athena's youngest brother). They pushed her to Edmond. Edmond catches her. "Don't sleep until the game is finished." Eris threatens. Gia grimaced at her.
"Don't let her fall asleep." Ken winked at Edmond. Edmond just nods.
"Shut up..." Gia said grumpily.
Edmond rubbed her arms to give her warmth. In the apple relay game there are lots of lovers who join the game. It includes her brother and his brother's girlfriend, Lester and Reina, her Mum and Dad which she found awful also Logan and his wife Patricia and Lawrence and his wife Viola and other lovers in the party. The apple hangs between them while the girls are in blind fold and all of their hands are tied at back.
"What's the prize in this game?" Edmond asked smiling while staring at her with a black blind fold.
"The prize is a brand new spy digital camera. Water proof and fire proof with night vision and x-ray vision. And a couple trip in Bahamas."
"Let's win it?"
"I don't want." She snorted and wanted to roll her eyes behind that blind fold.
"Why not? If we win it we can have our own time together in Bahamas."
"I am going to Ireland to fix things, so I don't have time to relax in Bahamas."
"Okay, I will go with you in Ireland."
The MC had explains everything and the game had started. Edmond is holding the apple by his mouth while Gia is biting on it and she did hold the apple by her lips and Edmond started eating. Her lips slipped into his and she move back.
"We are not winning this game." Edmond said looking at others.
"Good thing." she said. "Who's winning?" she asked.
"I don't know them. Maybe your cousin and his girlfriend."
"Can we remove this now?" she asked irritated.
"Not yet," his hand cuffs had removed but he's not doing anything to remove hers.
"I can hear the removing of hand cuffs." She sighed. "Un-cuff me."
"Will you give me an open-mouthed kiss if I did that?" he asked teasingly. Her forehead furrows. If she was only un-blind she is frowning at him that makes everyone scared. He caressed the strands of her hair that is hanging in front of her face.
"Have you gone too opportunist after asking me to marry you?" she asked sardonically.
"Okay, I'm sorry." He walked around her to her back and she removed the hand cuffs with the key. He removed the blind fold and he kissed her cheek.
"You are really opportunist." She punched him lightly on chest. He giggles and he holds her hand. Ares came along and he pulls Edmond's shoulder away from her with a frown. Edmond bit his lower lips and look down.
"You are not yet married to my daughter and she haven't given you answer." Ares reminded him. Edmond just nods.
"How do you know about that?" Gia asked. Ares stopped. No one knows that she didn't give Edmond an answer to his proposal.
"Excuse us." Ares told her daughter and he pulls Edmond and signed him to go with him. They went in the corner of the ball and Ares faced him. "Okay, so there are rules on courting her. Since she knows that you are a Prince and you are asking to marry her. Sex is not allowed when you are not yet married to her." he explains frankly. Edmond gapes and was shocked on what he said.
"I know, Sir." He said. Ares nods.
"No making out and kissing. You are not yet utterly engaged to her, do you understand?" he asked in strict father way.

"Good. Remember that she is our baby Princess and everyone's favorite so behave and be an old fashioned Prince." Edmond nods.
Gia was gone from the party. She's tired and wanted to sleep. She still has a little pain on her limbs and her eye lashes are falling down. After she had taken a warm half bath and had changed her clothes to a lavender peignoir. Prince is sleeping on his bean bag bed already. He got drunk on the champagne that Gia gave to him.
She looked at the locket and the ring that Edmond gave to her. She removed the ring from the chain and she put it on her ring finger. It perfectly fits on her finger and it's gorgeous. The stone in the middle is shining and she can determine that it's a real stone which worth millions. She's optimist and always objective. She doesn't care how expensive or priceless things are. All she need is a decent, true feeling without any twisted things on it. A soft knocked on the door broke her thoughts. She put it back on the chain and she put those expensive gifts on her jewelry box.
She walked on the door bare feet and opens it. Edmond is standing in front smiling at her. He is wearing a PJ pants and a white shirt.
"Are you sleeping now?" he asked. She nods. "I just came to say good night."
"Good night," she waved at him. "But you can come in if you want." She opened the door wide. He stepped his right foot and enters. Gia close the door.
"Why did you leave your party so early?" he asked.
"It's not early," she said walking to her bed. "It's 1 in the morning and I need to sleep." She dropped her butt on the bed; she bounced because of the impact. She inserts her half body on the duvet and she lay on the bed. "Besides my body is still in pain because of the game last day." He nods and went to bed. He kissed her forehead saying good night.
"Or you want me to massage you?" he asked. She flipped into her stomach and she hugged the pillow.
"That would be great." She whispers closing her eyes.
He sat beside her and he started massaging her shoulders and back. She hums and was pleased on the massage. His warm palms gives her a warm sensation that make her sleep well. He was getting seduced on what he is doing. Adrenaline strikes that makes him breathes slowly and swallowed hard. He stopped when she open her eyes and turning to him. She pulls his nape down. He put a pressure on his hands that is pressing the mattress cornering her. She wrestled him that makes him roll to the other side of the bed.
