Aisha stayed for a few minutes in Morano's manor before heading towards the Abyss famiglia. As she was nearing the famiglia's manor, she remember that she turned her phone off when she was fighting at Inferno Bar. Turning her phone on, she was shocked to see the countless calls and unread messages from both Alfred and Lucian. Then she recieved a new message from Lucian, telling her to come to his villa with an adressed below the message.
Although confused, Aisha still made a U-turn and head to the said address. Lucian's villa is far from the city, and will take a couple of hours to get there but with Aisha's superb driving skills and Alfred's sports car, it only takes a good half an hour for Aisha to get there.
Aisha stops in front of the massive gates of the manor, then a man in his black suit opens the gate for her and tells her, in a trembling but polite tone, to go to the back of the manor. Once Aisha was there, she was shock to see an Embraer Lineage 1000E.
And Lucian was standing at the end of the small staircase leading up to the entrance of the private jet, beside him was a familiar man in his grey suit. Aisha realized that he was that man whose name is Skyler, but she could careless about him, Lucian was more important than anyone.
Lucian's brows are furrowed and a displeasing expression was etched on his face, in his hand was his phone as he stared heavily at it.
He seems pretty occupied staring at his phone that he didn't even notice Aisha was just a few meters away from him.
Was he waiting for my call? As Aisha thought about this, her heart was filled with warmth as she smiled softly. Then her phone vibrated, it was a message from Lucian.
"Ciana, my dear, call me or message me if you get this message. I am worried about you." Was his message for her.
It was a simple two sentences message and yet it fills Aisha's heart with so much happiness and warmth.
And before she knew it, Aisha already crossed the distance between them in mere a second and hug Lucian tightly.
"Wha---!?" Lucian stumbles slightly because of the impact of Aisha's hug. He was about to push the person away when Aisha's familiar unique scent wafted through his nose. His hands that was meant to push her instantly went around her small waist as he return her hug.
His uneasy heart immediately went calm as he hugs her closely to his body. His tensed body relaxes as he inhaled her intoxicating smell that is exclusively hers.
"Hey, welcome back." He whispered in her ear, then he bit her ear gently which sends ripples of shivers in Aisha's body.
Aisha couldn't remember the last time someone told her "welcome back". It feels... nice.
"Hmm," she hums and then pulls away slightly from his embrace to look at his handsome face. "I'm back."
Lucian return her smile but when he notices the cut in the corner of her mouth, his chest tightens at the sight of her wounds and his mouth curl into a displeasinh frown. Then he feels regret that he can't be by her side whenever she was in danger.
He feels like a failure. He always failed to protect her.
Seeing the sad look on Lucian's face, Aisha called him. "Lucian, thank you." Her voice was soft, barely audible, but it was filled with sincerity and affection.
Lucian was surprise at her sudden expressed of gratefulness but he quickly recovered and smiles at her. "Hmm, why are you thanking me?" He was confuse as to why she was suddenly thanking him.
Aisha have so many things to thank him for. She could go on thanking him with every thing he has done for her every day and yet, it still wouldn't be enough.
Aisha beamed at him and shook her head. "I'm just thankful that you're always here for me."
Lucian was, yet again, surprise by her unexpected remark, however, his heart was filled with love for the woman in his arms. "Silly, there's no need to thank me for something like this."
"I just want to thank you. Just accept it." Aisha rolled her eyes at him which earned a hearty laugh from Lucian.
"Then," Lucian leans down and bit her ear again and whispered, "Thank you, too, for being with me."
