Aisha had a subtle smirk when she hears his voice. Just what I expected, he will come here.
Nikos narrowed his eyes at the detective who caused them too much trouble. He make sure that no one will leak out what happened here, unless.... he look at the two men beside him before darting his gaze at Augustus.
"Mr. Augustus! Finally, we meet! I've heard so many great things about you!" Aisha claps as she indulged herself into her new persona.
Augustus stops in front of Aisha and with scrutinizing gaze, he inspect the woman before him. Augustus wasn't the type of person who judge someone based on their clothing. While this woman seems to be disciplined, he gets the vibe that she's bold and unruly but smart and confident.
Domineering, proud, clever, and skilful. Those are the few words Aisha used to describe the man before her. If it's any ordinary person, they will feel intimidated especially with his tall height and muscular body, and his strong aura.
"I ask you, who are you? Don't you know that civilians aren't allowed in a crime scene?"
"Ah, but I'm not a civilian. I am Nancy Marple, an executive detective from the Elite Police Force in Country S." Aisha reached for the identity card with her fake picture and name in her pocket, and gave it to Augustus.
"Detective, huh?" Augustus frowns at the card, he had been a police in EPF before he became a detective in Country A, and the authenticity of this card is real. "And why does the detective from EPF is here in Country A?"
Aisha shook her head as she gets her card from his grasp. "Detective Penber sent me here to help you investigate the case of the mafias' illegal businesses."
"Penber? You mean Penber Nicke?" Penber Nicke is his superior when Augustus was still in EPF, he is the one who pushes him into becoming a detective. "He sends you?"
"Don't tell me he didn't tell you?" Aisha feigned a shock expression as she shook her head in disappointment. "Seriously, that old fogey, he should just retire with his poor memory."
Augustus frown deepens, this woman talks like she is close with Penber. He then remembers that Penber once told him that he will send someone to help him with the case but he just regarded it as a joke. He didn't know that Penber is serious.
He made a quick phone call to Detective Penber and confirmed that he, indeed, send Nancy to assist him in his case regarding about mafias. He even took a picture of her and send it to Penber just to be sure but Penber had confirmed it that she is indeed Nancy Marple.
Aisha was just listening to the side as Augustus talks to Penber. Of course, she wasn't a bit least worried about finding out that she isn't Nancy Marple. Detective Penber did send a woman named "Nancy Marple" but she was captured by Aisha's men. Aisha was wearing a face mask made by herself personally, so there's no way that Penber can notice that she isn't Nancy.
"How did you end up in this place?"
"Since I will stay here for quite a while, I roam this place to find a cheap apartment to live since that old fogey cut off all my incomes and was left with short money." Aisha reploid with disdained. Of course, she had investigated Nancy's relationship with Penber and they are relatively close with each other.
"And you happen to be here and heard about this incident, and went here to investigate it." It wasn't a question but a statement. Augustus guess what happened just by her information.
Aisha claps a couple of times while nodding as if she was impress. "Yes, that's right."
"I'm going to investigate it." Augustus said before going inside of Stan's apartment.
Aisha knew that he was going to have the same conclusion as her.
Augustus came with a few police officers and they put "Police Line Do Not Cross" around the apartment. After awhile, Augustus came out and interrogate Nikos, Sol, and Jin.
"I got a call from Sol that Stan commit a suicide. When I got here, Ms. Nancy is already here and didn't let me inside." Nikos answered when Augustus questioned him.
Sol and Jin also answered Augustus questions but left the part about Aisha's sudden arrival at the casino, and about the underground casino.
Augustus was silent for awhile before darting his gaze at Aisha. "You already know who's the killer?"
"Of course!" Aisha beams, her eyes flash with arrogance. "I just need to find the evidence but then you came."
Damn, how did they find out? I'm dead!
Stan was killed? By who?
Nikos, who was beside the two men, narrowed his eyes when he saw their unusual behavior. It looks like one of them is the traitor and killed Stan.
"Get the corpse for the autopsy and inspect the place for fingerprints." Augustus orders and the police went inside. "Since you'd investigated it, care to share your deduction?"
"Detective Augustus wants to test my skills?" Aisha raised her brows and chuckles. "Detective Penber sends me here, are you doubting me or him?"

"I-I'm sorry, CEO Aeron. We really don't know where the Miss from the Presidential Suite went to." The receptionist almost cried. "We check the CCTVs, we didn't see her leaving."
"Then why is she isn't in her suite?"
