Angel was shocked when Don led her over behind the counter after speaking in a hushed tone to the store clerk. when the walked behind the thick red and black curtain she almost had a heart attack, Loud music filtered out from speakers around the huge room, booths with curtains lined the walls and an island bar sat right in the middle of the room. The bartender waved to them and beckoned them over, he had a small stubble and brown hair that was obviously gelled upright in a spikey sort of fashion. He fixed his honey brown eyes on her "who's the new chick sir" he said, Don laughed and smiled "nobody special..." he said.
The words lingered in the air, Angel didn't miss the look that he gave the bartender though. He glared at him like he was saying something, the bartender's eyes widened and he nodded, Don turned to Angel "wanna drink?" he asked gently. All traces of the fierceness in his eyes he had moments before were gone. Angel frowned, why did he look at the bartender like that? And how did he go from being angry to calm in a few short seconds? "Angel," he said a little bit louder. Angel shook the thoughts out of her head and looked over at him blushing "Uh sorry" she said quietly, Don smiled sweetly "its ok, I know this place is a little overwhelming" he whispered and patted her on the head. Angels blush intensified and she couldn't look him in the eye, then the moment was spoiled by a loud gurgle. Don raised an eyebrow and smiled, clearly amused at the whole ordeal "someone's hungry" he said laughing. Angel was redder than a radish at this point "s-shut up" she said, cursing her nervous stutter. Don rolled his eyes and took her hand in his "come on" he said, he tugged her past all the booths and towards the back of the hidden restaurant.
Angel was confused when Don let go of her hand, he felt around in his pockets for a second. Then he pulled his hand out, he held a small black key. Angel stared on as he walked over to a metal door an unlocked it, he gestured for her to follow him. That's how they ended up in a dark room with a purplish glow, Angel frowned "and how is this going to feed my stomach again?" she said. Don put a hand to her lips "come into here and all will be explained" he said mysteriously, Angel had no choice but to follow him into a small booth...
