With a light heart, Lexi drove to where she booked her dinner with her parents. Since the mall she was at earlier was only minutes away, she arrived before her parents. Being assisted in one of the private dining rooms inside the fancy restaurant, Lexi patiently waited for them.

While she does so, she was reminded of Ethan Lu's account. Hence, to quench her curiosity, Lexi reached for her phone and searched for his account. It only took her seconds for the search engine to display the person she was looking for.

He had a profile picture of him holding a glass of champagne while he was on a yacht that seemed a party was taking place. Clicking his profile, Lexi was surprised to know that he had abundant fans following him.

Scrolling down, the latest photo she saw that was posted hours ago was the watch he gifted her.

The watch together with her note was on top of his desk. The background had a few stacks of documents that he was working on. Reading the caption, Lexi's brows twitched.

It says: "Love is patient, love is kind. Love gifted me, Love gave me energy… aiya~! I can make this as our family heirloom. *heart melts* #Fullyrecharged"

"Just when I thought he knows a bible verse…" Shaking her head, Lexi let out a faint chuckle as she continued to scroll down. The next post she had seen was their dinner on their first official date.

On the photo, her hand was caught but it was not enough to discern that it was hers.

It says: "Never have I ever been in love like this… #drinkswine"

"Tss, this guy… so that was he was doing." She chuckled. Recalling their first date, Lexi remembered that Ethan would sometimes use his phone from time to time.

The next photo was a photo of their shadows under the magical sunset.

It says: "The only time I can be myself is when I'm with you. God, I love this woman… Thank you

Upon reading this caption, a subtle smile was plastered across her face. "This guy… when did he take all of this?" She murmured as Lexi continued to scroll down and read his every caption.

There were photos of him, working out— the one when he volunteered as her trainer. It was as if every time he was with her, he was posting them with funny captions or humble bragging.

Still, only parts of Lexi were in every photo— either her hands or the tip of her hair. Still, this act was enough to make her heart softened as she didn't know that he had been doing this. She stopped scrolling down when she reached the first post Ethan shared back with a caption calling her a glutton.

And after all that, the interval of his post was tremendous. So to speak, Ethan Lu had only been active since that heavy morning breakfast. Of course, since Elliot Gong shared Ethan's first sweet status, he had garnered enormous followers.

And with his every new post, fans were bombarding the comment section stating they were envious of the woman he was referring to, calling him the most romantic guy and so on so forth. She didn't know how, but the last thing Lexi knew, she was reading a screenshot collection of his post that had gone viral.

It says: "Where is my own Ethan Lu?"

Explained why even without going on any show or any promotion, Ethan Lu had his own fan club. Of course, his dating history also resurfaced but surprisingly enough, his fans are pretty solid to defend him. Still, Lexi knew that Ethan Lu was unaware of all of this.

After reading as much comment as she could, Lexi finally closed the app as she massaged her eyelids. She has mixed emotions about his sneaky act to brag about his love for her— not in a bad way.

Just then, she heard the door opened and there, her parents guided by the manager entered the private dining area.

"Oh, Lexi dear, we're sorry to keep you waiting. We were stuck in a traffic jam." The moment Lillian Yang saw her daughter, she lovingly apologized.

On the other hand, Lexi stood and slightly bowed her head before giving her mother a reassuring smile. "It's fine, Mom." She then helped her mother to take off her coat and placed a kiss on her father's cheeks.

Surely, this lightened the mood around the private dining room as Lexi was being extra sweet. To the Yang parents, whatever the reason behind her sudden sweetness, they were glad to see that their daughter was slowly returning to them.

Since Lexi was the one who arranged it, the food was shortly served on the table. As the mouth-watering dishes were being served with complete discretion, Frederick Yang spoke.

"Lexi, how were your sessions with Doctor Xu?" Although Frederick Yang was keeping a close eye with Lexi's counseling with Doctor Xu after her suicide attempt, he wanted to confirm if it was genuinely working well. No one could blame him because Lexi seemed to cope faster than they thought— and it was alarming sometimes.

"To be honest Dad, Dr. Xu is amazing but I know a better doctor." Smiling while thinking about Churu, Lexi honestly stated.

"Who is it?" Curious, Lillian Yang was quite curious about the doctor she was talking about. Does that also mean, aside from Doctor Xu, she was also attending to other treatments? Both Yang parents patiently waited for her response but in the end, Lexi only brightly smiled.

"Don't worry, Mom, Dad. I will still attend my appointments with Doctor Xu."

Disappointment flashed across both Lillian and Frederick Yang, but they didn't probe further. As long as their daughter was doing well, they would not mind whoever doctor it was. Soon, they started digging up their food as the family of three enjoyed every moment together.

It had been a while since they could laugh together and share stories to catch up. Lexi also shared about the movie she was currently working on. She told them about Rika, how Arnold Shen and the crew almost sabotage their own schedule by drinking too much the night before the last day of on their set.

*****

[Lu Corporation]

Ethan Lu rested his back on the executive chair as he happily looked at his wrist. When he received the gift Lexi sent her, he immediately made Lyrick Jiang readjust it so he could wear it as soon as possible.

"Young Master, that would be your last appointment for today." Closing his small note, Lyrick Jiang reported. Looking at the smiling man who was brightening up the whole night, he could not help the corner of his lips but twitch.

He could still remember how his boss waited at the building's lobby so he could personally receive the gift. And when it arrived, not only Lyrick Jiang but everyone else was astounded by their next big boss's reaction. It was as if that instant, spring bloomed inside of the Lu Corporation in the midst of autumn. He could still remember how his boss skips his steps as he goes back to his office.

'Is this the effect of love to him? It must be…' Lyrick Jiang wondered inwardly as his mind wandered who could be the woman who had his boss wrapped around her palms.

Just then, Ethan Lu received a chat from the contact ID: My Heart. Without a second to waste, he opened the message. He was then welcomed with a selfie of Lexi with her parents. It says;

"Ate out with Mom and Dad. Don't forget your dinner as well."

Ethan Lu stared at their photo for a long time with an even huge smile on his face. He was reminded about his conversation with her father, Frederick Yang, and their family photo. Although Lexi's smile wasn't as bright just like the specific family portrait, the heartwarming and kind atmosphere from the selfie she just sent gave him relief.

"At least, she's starting to smile again." He murmured. His heart relaxed as his eyes softened. He had the urge to join their dinner, however, he respected their family time as he thought that he had been stealing Lexi's time too much. Still, he was still glad.

"Lyrick, let's eat!" Turning his attention to Lyrick Jiang, Ethan Lu invited his assistant after replying to her. He then jolted from his seat and hurriedly made his way to wherever they could eat.
