The day of the doctor's appointment finally arrived. Just like what doctor Xu said, the clinic looked more like a small villa with a small garden on the side of the house.

It was well guarded with a huge fence and gate and if one doesn't know, one would think that they were only there to visit a friend. Indeed, it was a perfect setting for soon to be mothers that want to keep their pregnancy a secret.

Lexi scrutinized the area as soon as she got out of the car. However, at the same time, another car approached. Turning her head to the familiar ride of her father, a smile formed on the side of her lips.

Little did she know, when the people inside the vehicle departed from the inside, her eyes would bulge in surprise. Lexi wasn't surprised to see her parents present as it was her first check-up. However, what shook her to the core was not only her parents, but her best friend Rika was with them winking at her as well!

"I mentioned to Rika about the appointment yesterday while we were chatting. So since she was free today, she asked me if she could tag along." Lillian Yang, as always had this tender soothing motherly tone as she explained Rika Song's attendance.

"Bestie~! I'm so excited to know what gender the baby is!" Excited as if she was the mother of the child, Rika Song's eyes gleamed as she already formed an alliance with Lillian Yang to have a baby girl.

"Rika dear, I'm afraid we won't know the baby's gender today." Chuckling, Lillian Yang explained to the expecting auntie about her advanced wishes.

After all, Lexi should be at least 18-20 weeks pregnant to know the gender of the child. Therefore, it was impossible for her to expect to know the baby's gender in an instant.

"Chatting?" Arching her brows, Lexi was well informed that Rika Song was close to her parents especially to her mother. However, since when did Lillian Yang knew how to chat?

In retrospect, Lillian Yang was used to sending formal emails. She rarely does messaging as she prefer to call. Therefore, hearing the word 'chatting' coming out from her mother's mouth, Lexi found it a little shocking.

"I introduced Mommy Yang to wechat. Hehe. She likes the stickers." Giggling, Rika Song smiled brightly as she turned to the seemingly youthful Lillian Yang.

On the other hand, Lexi and Frederick Yang could not help but shake their heads. In their mind, at the very least, Lillian Yang was happy and enjoying Rika Song's company. Therefore, they were relieved that Lexi's girl best friend was like their own daughter now.

Meanwhile, Ethan Lu could only watch the two 'girls' giggling while Lexi seemed to become their mother. While he watched them, a subtle smile formed on the side of his lips.

God knows that he was grateful to find a family that he had yearned for since childhood. Who would have thought that the dream he already buried deep within him and had given up would come true?

"Alright, girls. The doctor might've been waiting for us." Intervening to Rika Song and his wife, Lillian Yang while teasing Lexi, Frederick Yang helplessly shook his head as he snapped them back to their initial purpose.

With that said note, everyone followed his lead as they make their way inside the small yet classy house.

When Lexi and her company arrived inside, they were welcomed by a nurse inside. Aside from the people whom they assumed as medical assistants with their clothing, there wasn't any other patient inside this completely cute lobby.

"Miss Yang?" As the nurse approached them, the nurse politely inquired with a smile.

"Yes," Nodding, Lexi responded which made the nurse nod her head in acknowledgment.

"This way please." Gesturing them to follow her, the nurse lead the way to the doctor's office. Of course, Lexi with Ethan Lu holding her hand followed her. Meanwhile, Frederick Yang, Lillian Yang, and Rika Song excitedly followed the two from behind as their excitement grew stronger.

"Doctor, Miss Yang is here." The nurse knocked on the door before she announced. After a second, the nurse only smiled as she turned to Lexi and Ethan Lu's front.

"You can come in." The nurse said which made the couple furrowed their brows. They didn't hear any reply coming from the inside. Regardless, since the nurse said to come in, they did. After all, this place was recommended by Doctor Xu, the Family Yang's doctor.

Little did they know, the moment they stepped their foot inside, Lexi especially Ethan Lu was shaken to the maximum degree.

"Oh, Miss Yang! Nice to finally meet you, please take a seat." A young man that seemed to be in his early 30's, had a great physique outlined by his fitter inner clothes beneath his white lab coat. He had thin silver-framed glasses that was hooked onto this narrow nose.

Although his jaw was clean and shaved, there are still remnants of his beard that could make an idea that he would surely look great if he had them. Overall, the person before them was not just a doctor but a hot one!

"..." Both Lexi and Ethan Lu were rendered speechless as they scrutinized the tall doctor from his head down to the toe of his shiny black shoes. Their shock and thoughts were too evident across both their faces which made the male doctor chuckle as if he was used to it.

Just then, the yang parents with the fake yang daughter finally arrived inside. They came in rather late as Lillian Yang and Rika Song had to recompose themselves. Alas, when the two heard an unfamiliar voice of a man, their gaze raised towards the voice's direction.

At the same time, the same reaction, their eyes widened to see that the gynecologists' doctor Xu recommended was a man!

'Oh! Doctor Xu! My daughter has a fiance!' Unconsciously, Frederick Yang had a headache as he didn't see this coming. After all, the name of the calling card was named Jamie Liao.

How the hell did Frederick Yang assume that the name Jaime was named after a woman?!
