Recovering from the shock she just had, Nathalie still decided to test the effects of the magical stone on the other genders and people. Of course she would hide the fact that the consumption of the magical stone will effect in people mutating into demons.
She brought over the body of Renaldo, or whatever he was now, to the empty room in the cellar. Entering the room where the mortals were located, she called over a woman this time. To see if gender had any effect on the mutation, she wondered what would happen to her.
It was a girl, probably in the same age group as Nathalie. Leading her into the testing room, Nathalie offered her one of the magical mixture. After the young girl drank up the mixture, the woman also suffered from the immense pain. However to her surprise, Nathalie did not notice any changes happening to the body of her. Confused by this, Nathalie wondered what the effects would be if females consumed the magical mixture.

After some time had passed, the young woman stood back up. There was no change in appearance. Confused by this Nathalie asked the following, "So how do you feel now? I hope that the mixture has improved your strength."
Looking at Nathalie, the young woman had a smile on her face, "I… I can feel power inside me. Is this how magic feels like? Can I use magic now? Am I a witch now? Did you make me into a witch?" The girl was in such a confused yet happy state that she started to bomb Nathalie with question after question.
Understanding a bit what had happened, Nathalie observed her closely. Curious, Nathalie asked, "I think indeed that you got magical powers. Yet the question now is what your powers are now? So can you try and use your po…"
Before Nathalie could finish her question, the young woman started already to use her powers. Her hands started to glow brightly. This made Nathalie realize something. Because the magical stone that was used in the mixture was a light stone, maybe the powers that they gain will also be connected to the abilities of the stones.
Happy with this result, Nathalie led the girl above ground and introduced her to the other witches well as explain this part of her research. This young woman is named Hanna. She was someone that came from the slums. Before turning around to go to the cellar again, Nathalie called over Emily. For some reason she could not hide anything form Emily. Therefore she decided to show what would happened if a male consumed the magical mixture.
As Emily entered the room with the demon in it, her first intuition was to attack it. However seeing that it was defenseless and was not acting at all, she decided to leave it be. Looking confused at Nathalie Emily wondered what had happened, "So are you going to tell me what a demon is doing in the cellar of our tower?"
Looking in the eyes of Emily, Nathalie responded, "Well the thing is… this is actually a result of the consumption of the magical mixture." Continuing on with her discoveries and the idea behind her theory, Nathalie explained everything she knew about this subject to Emily. "Therefore I think that because females can become witches, the effects of the consumption the magical mixtures have different effects on both genders."
After having listener to what Nathalie said, Emily showed a wicked smile. This smile was getting used more often by Emily compared to before. Emily said, "In that case, maybe we can use this all to our benefits. We can create our own army with these beasts. We can rival… no even surpass The Union! We will become Goddesses! Together, we will rule the world!"
Having explained this, both Nathalie and Emily agreed on continuing on using these mixtures on mortals, to create their personal army that can surpass both the demons as well as The Union.

Having finished up with all the mortals, the net gain for Nathalie was as followed, out of the 10 mortals, 8 survived. The 3 older males were transformed into demons. As for the 3 females, they gained magical powers, connected to the stone they consumed. As for the 4 children, the 2 boys could not handle the power change and mutation of their body. Because of that they both lost their lives. As for the 2 girls, they also turned into young witches.
Understanding the results, the focus for the group was that they should try to recruit either adult males or any female mortals.
Moreover, the task of recruiting witches directly was something that had to be done. Other important thing that the group still had to focus on was to improve the supply of magical stones they got. And if possible, the group should try and get higher tiered magical stones in order to provide with better powers to the new witches.
With this in mind the witches all started to spread out trying to do their best to improve their group.

In the slums of Taquila, Hanna excitedly entered the commune in which she lived. There were many other young women like her that were abandoned by The Union. Rushing into one of the rooms, Hanna eagerly called out, "Sisters! Sisters! I have great news!"
All the other women in the room were shocked by the sudden entrance of the girl and looked towards her. One of the girls asked curiously, "What happened, what are you so excited about?" It was one of the older sisters. Smiling towards her, Hanna holds her hands in front of her and used her magical powers. Her hands started to glow. Seeing this, the girls in the room gasped from their shocks. The older sister was the one that snapped back first, "Is this… magic? Does this mean that you are now a witch? But how is that possible? Aren't you already an adult?"
Smiling at the confused state the older sister was in, Hanna replied happily, "A Goddess appeared. She gave me these powers. She is really generous and is willing to provide everyone that is willing to follow and obey her. I came here because I want you all to follow her as well!"
Dismissing these words, the older sister started to look at Hanna as if she was making fun of them, "Where did you learn that trick? How did you do it? Was it one of those street performers who taught you how to use it?"
Annoyed by these comments, Hanna ignored her and looked towards the other sisters, "Well you can either believe me or not. But I am telling the truth. I will leave in a few minutes, the ones that are willing to give it a shot can meet me outside." Saying these words, Hanna turned around annoyed towards the door before she left the room.
After a few minutes, out of the 10 sisters, only 3 of them showed up deciding to follow Hanna. Sad by the low rate of turnout, she still decided to lead these sisters towards the tower.
Unknown to Hanna, the older sister decided to follow as well, however in secret.

Arriving at the tower, Hanna led her sisters into the tower. Seeing the girls enter, the older sister turned around and walked back towards the city. In her mind, she wanted to reveal all this to the authorities in the city, hoping to receive some rewards.
