The knife that was given to Naota was inside of Feril's gut. Freddy's body was split in half with a smile on his face. Feril punches Naota away. Feril gets on his knees in pain and removes the knife out of his guts. Blood gushes out of Feril's mouth and stomach.
Naota who was punched away from Feril gets up. "So you sacrificed your friend for you...Huh?" Feril says to Naota. Naota looks at Freddy's upper body then the lower. "He wasn't my friend, the thing is...I barely knew him." Naota says with no emotion.
"You're...Quite a cold one, aren't you?" Feril asks Naota. Naota begins to move towards Feril. Naota sighs. "I am not cold. It's just that why would I mourn over someone who I don't even know." Naota says. "But you've not even shown shred of fear." Feril says to Naota. "Hmm? Fear? There is no such thing as fear when it comes to me." Naota says.
Feril smiles as he gushes out blood from his mouth. "Hey...That's my line..." Feril says to Naota. "Hmm?" Naota looks confused. "Tell me, Takaki Naota...Were you raised in slums like me?" Feril asks Naota. "Yeah, you could say that." Naota says to Feril. "No wonder you don't feel anything..." Feril says. "You already know the slum life...Murders everywhere, you get used to it and hence where you get the cold face from." Feril continues.
"True, even though my mother kept me away from such stuff. I still saw people get killed, people fought with me and I started becoming more and more resilient to fear." Naota says to Feril. Feril lies on the ground with his face on the top. "I see...That's the difference between us..." Feril says to Naota with a smile. "Hmm?"
"I had a mother too...But she was too cruel, she made me a 2 year old kid work...As I grew, I became irritated of her actions...Hence why...I had to kill her..." Feril says to Naota. "Not to mention...Everyone around me...Every time I tried to befriend them...They used look down on me... I started to think only for myself...Friends, family...All that bullshit was just getting in my way...I just somehow wanted to survive...But yet...It was the worse feeling...The feeling of no one being around you...The feeling of being alone...Even killing someone or having sex with woman around the country doesn't satisfy the hunger of being alone..." Feril continues. "I can see...Why you care about...Friendship...You might have had great friends in your life..." Feril smiles.
"That is wrong." Naota says to Feril. "Huh?"
"I never had any friends. Like you said, they looked down me too. They thought that I would take their shit." Naota sighs. "So...The one's you call friend..." Naota interrupts Feril. "Maria and Lily are the first people whom I actually considered friends. As for the other girl, Adana, just like this guy over here..." Naota pointed at Freddy's smiling corpse. "I barely knew her." Naota continued.
Feril sighs. "If only I had a mother like yours..." Feril smiles. "I am not giving you my mother." Naota says to Feril. Feril chuckles. "Don't be so dense." Feril says.
"Tell me...If I didn't attack you, would you have considered to be my friend?" Feril asks Naota. "Maybe..." Naota replies to Feril. "What if I ask you now? Would you still be my friend?" Feril asks Naota. "Give me one valid reason why I should be your friend." Naota says to Feril. "First of all, I am dying and I want you to help me and second..." Feril smiles. "You're the first person who I could relate to and be open with." Feril says.
"So I want to ask you again Takaki Naota, will you be my friend?" Feril asks Naota.
(Even though this will be my final day in this world...)

"Alright..." Naota replies to Feril's question. Feril gets back up on his feet."Are you going to fight me that injured?" Naota asks Feril. "Don't be ridiculous, I won't fight my first friend..." Feril replies to Naota as he turns back towards the entrance gate of Bluemoon. The army begins to gather around there. "GET TAKAKI NAOTA!" Skar shouts out.
"Get out of here Takaki Naota and please apologize to the Mistress for all the curses and killing her personal guardian...Even though I can't be redeemed for that...At least I can go out...Protecting you guys..." Blood gushes out of Feril's mouth.
Naota tries to help Feril, "I will help you-"
"I SAID GO! YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO SURVIVE, SO DO IT! I will be fine...My friend..." Feril says with a smile.
"Tsch! What an idiot...YOU BETTER BE ALIVE FERIL! I WILL BE COMING BACK AND WHEN I COME BACK...I will be strong...STRONG ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH THE WHOLE CITY!" Naota says as he begins to escape.
Feril smiles.
(By the time you come back...There will be none of me left.)
Feril begins to step forward as a new bridge is put forth by the guards. Skar begins to walk up to Feril. "So you decided to betray us..." Skar says to Feril. "You could say that...Skar..." Feril says with a smile as he gushes out blood from his mouth.
"Kill him..." Skar says to the guards standing behind him. The guards charge towards Feril.
(Today...I will take down each one of you...I will never let you reach Naota...Doesn't matter what happens...He is the first ever person who I could ever relate to...I will never ever let him die...This my redemption...THIS IS MY FINAL STAND FOR MY FIRST FRIEND THAT I EVER MADE!)
That day, a lot of enemy soldiers were slaughtered by the young man who stood still for his friend until his last breathe. He lost both his arms and still continued fighting with his teeth and legs. He was stabbed right through his chest but he continued fighting. His body was burned to crisp, he still didn't give up. Even when his head was chopped off, his body wandered to kick someone until it rested in peace.
On that day, the man named Feril died an honourable death.
On the carriage that Adana and the other two female were travelling, a bump was heard on the top of the carriage.
"What was that?" Adana stops the horse as Naota falls on the ground unconscious and injured. Maria and Lily stepped out of the carriage and found Naota on the ground. "BIG BROTHER!!!!!!"
