Zylvia had mixed feelings. She did not want her daughter to start sleeping in a different room. But she had to agree that it was for the best.

It was due to Jaekel that they had decided to do this. For some reason, that no one could figure out, the young prince seemed much more at peace whenever her kid was near him. He would stop whimpering and would instead be a little angel.

And so, the castle nursery that had not been in use for several decades was remodeled to accommodate both of the kids and arrangements were made to get the parents if either child ever started making a fuss.

Zylvia, of course, spent as much time as possible in the nursery, watching both of the children. Watching the kids cuddling made her sacrifice worth it.

"Aww… look at that," Fayre was with her, happily smiling at the two kids, "They're already best friends."

"Yeah," Zylvia laughed happily, "It's cute."

She reached out and poked Amrunela's cheek. The little girl's face wrinkled a little but she just moved away making her mother giggle. Her little girl was adorable.

Fayre laughed at her, "You and Kaldrek absolutely adore her don't you? The two of you have been in here constantly."

They had been. Often together. Neither one of them could leave their baby girl alone. Both of them would do anything for the child they had been blessed with.

"Not like you and Jayesh are any different about your little prince." Zylvia could not stop her huge smile that was plastered to her face as if to stay for the rest of her life.

"But of course we dote on Jaekel!" Fayre scooped up the prince who reached out his little chubby hand for Amrunela with wide eyes. "We waited to have our little guy for two years after all."

Zylvia scooped up her five-month old daughter with a shake of her head, "Even though he has separation issues not with you but with my daughter." She giggled again.

"Yeah," Fayre smiled to herself, "At least he does seem to realize I'm his mom."

The prince had always seemed to realize that his mom was a safe place and even before they had found out that he liked having the younger baby staying with him, his mom had been the person most likely to calm him down from his fits. His father and his parent's best friends had also been trusted of course, but their seemed to be something calming in the touch of his mother to the young prince.

"At least." Zylvia agreed, "Could you imagine how devastating it would be if he did not?"

"Truly," Fayre laughed, "But he does, so I am happy."

Zylvia laughed along with her friend as they continued to play with their kids. Their conversation was light and filled with fun.

It was a while later that Kaldrek came in and made a beeline for his wife. Zylvia looked up at her husband. He planted a kiss on her forehead and then stole their daughter from her.

"Hey!" She pouted at him as she reached for their child. "I was holding her."

He sat beside of her, with a grin on his face. He scooted close to her and threw his arm around her shoulders, as he plopped the little girl on both of their laps, "There, we can shar her."

She smiled at him, accepting his offer. There was something about him sitting this close to her that made it hard for her to argue with him.

"You two are adorable together." Fayre laughed, breaking into their moment.

Zylvia blushed but had no comeback. Kaldrek grinned at their queen, "Well, I'm not sure about myself but Zylv is certainly cute. No doubt about that."

"Usually I would not call you cute, Kaldrek." Fayre laughed, shaking her head, "But you do turn a bit adorable when it comes to your wife."

"…" Kaldrek blushed a bit, ducking his head, "I suppose I can accept that…"

Zylvia leaned her head against his shoulder. She did not quite agree with Fayre. Kaldrek was adorable more than the queen was giving him credit for. Though she preferred to call him cute when it was just the two of them, not when her best friend was there.
