After sending Zylvia away, Jayesh turned to his wife with a huge smile on his face. Fayre shook her head at him, "Seriously, Jayesh? Why would you chase my best friend away like that?"

"Chase her away? My dear lady, she offered to leave, I merely took her up on that offer."

Fayre turned away from him with a flip of her glossy hair. The young king sighed, "Look, sweetheart, I really do think that Kaldrek would appreciate seeing his wife. They have only been married two weeks and are still in that initial honeymoon stage."

She turned back to him and smiled sweetly, "Oh? Are you trying to tell me that you wanting to be alone with me had nothing to do with it? Because I know you better than that, my lord."

"Of course I wanted to be alone with my darling wife. It's called killing two birds with one stone. I get to be with you, if Zylv goes finds Kaldrek then they get some time together. It's a win-win for everyone."

Fayre suddenly leaned forward and kissed him, "I think we can step back and give the two some room now, they seem to be doing fine."

He grinned, as he remembered his earlier conversation with his best friend, "I know, Kaldrek admitted to me that he likes Zylvia. Apparently for quite some time too. No wonder he did not run, I always wondered..."

Fayre snuggled into his arms. She seemed to have gotten over him having Zylvia leave on her. Now she was just smiling as she played with the collar of his shirt. "Oh, come on, Kaldrek would never have run from marrying her. Even when we were teasing him we all knew he would not. The only reason he would have run is if his heart actually had been with another woman."

Jayesh smiled, it was true. Kaldrek was not the sort to purposely insult people, especially those he cared about. Which they had always known Zylvia was someone he valued. Just they had not been aware of the exact extent of his regard for her. Of course, accidentally insulting people was a whole different matter. Kaldrek had a high record of that. But even he had to be aware of the insult of utterly refusing to marry someone, at least without a good reason for it.

"Alright, my dear." Jayesh grinned, "If Zylvia felt the same way for him it would be great..."

"Oh, she does," Fayre smiled smugly, "She is just shy about it."

"Really? Wonderful," Jayesh threw back his head and laughed heartily, "How long have the two been in love and ignoring it? I really feel absolutely no guilt now for having them marry..."

Fayre giggled, "And from our conversation earlier I got the impression that they have given themselves to each other entirely, not sure how much they have actually talked about it though."

"Well, I am sure that if they are admitting their feelings to us, then they have probably already discussed it with themselves."

Fayre nodded happily, "Aye, I am glad that Kaldrek loves her, she needs someone that can always be there for her."

Jayesh gazed at his wife and her glowing eyes and tugged her closer, "Well, my dear, I think we have talked about our friends enough... Now can we focus on us?"

She smiled at him and kissed him, biting his bottom lip just a little. Jayesh kissed her back, pulling on her waist with one hand, and placing the other behind her neck. As they continued their kiss, he pulled her so she was sitting in his lap, being careful of her womb area as he did so.

When they pulled away, he leaned his forehead against hers with a smile on his face. Being with this woman never seemed to get old. She was definitely the only one for him. Just thinking that this woman was going to be the mother of his child was making him feel wonderfully joyous.
