Slightly dejected Idan lies next to the fire. Gazing into the flames, his mind is filled with thoughts about the future.

Feeling slightly lost he decides to just banish these thoughts and concentrate on the future.

If it is meant to be it will be.

Since they already planned their training they now have to think about the time they have to spend in the forest. They already thought about abandoning the agreement with Emma's group but in the end, it is their best choice if they intend to enter human society. They would offer an identity and some trust.

They would start with nothing. Furthermore, they would have a relatively safe place for themselves. A place where they could strengthen themselves until they can face the basic threats life may throw at them. According to the limited information she accessed and checked the humans in this world are mostly peaceful. Cooperation between races exist but she could not find anything about political struggle, wars or anything of the sort.

She knew that most races were content with the current situation and it seems to have been like this for quite some time. It gave her some confidence since the settlement seems to be on the outskirts of a kingdom. The town is near the beast forest and while they are unlikely to be annihilated they are in danger. Beasts can always decide to leave the forest and attack humans.

They are unlikely to do so but not all beasts are content with staying in the forest and many desire fights or revenge.

Fights by searching for strong opponents among other races and revenge because they are hunted and treated as inferior beings.

Most races, especially humans, have a superiority complex about their own race. Needless to say, this does not help most of the time. Many humans are peaceful but the higher the authority and power the stronger this sense of superiority goes.

And humans, more than others, tend to display this superiority even towards their own people.

Thinking about it entering a town on the outskirts of a kingdom is the best choice. These people tend to have a good relationship with other countries due to the close proximity and frequent interaction.

That is not always the case but considering the easy and harmonious interaction with the adventurers, she deemed it as such. If they had troublesome relations with other races they would have first checked her for racial traits and would have judged afterward.

The topic of the political world is at the moment rather unimportant. It suffices to know that there is no big war being fought and no crazy purge of other races. Like this, she may not have to hide her ability to cultivate in several forms.

While she may not have tried, she is able to cultivate like a human. Consciously guiding energy into her core and then guiding it through a circulation.

Beasts are different. While they do cultivate they do it differently. Their core is much stronger and much denser than humans. They have to accumulate more energy and they don't circulate the energy. They let the energy stream through their body and temper it by itself.

The beasts connection to a certain type or several is innately higher than most humans or other races. The only deficit is that they cannot really control what they temper. Their race, mutation, and innate affinity decide their future path.

Only very rarely is a beast blessed with a body that allows it to control this process. This ability is randomly bestowed. It may appear in a dragon or it might appear in a common sheep, rat or wolf.

Due to their high affinity with energy itself, a Protoss does possess this ability. As they can build their own body they are naturally bestowed with the ability to cultivate in any path. Their body choice and other factors decide their talent in every path but the doors are all open.

------------------------------

An hour has passed and the time was spend thinking about themselves and their future. As each has found at least a starting point they can now get down to business.

First of they each decided on waiting with their body training. Doing so in such an environment with their meager strength would leave them exhausted and vulnerable.

They will have a lot of time in the human town.

Secondly, after contemplating once more they decided to go into the human town. As of now, it is the best choice. Our protagonist has yet to undergo her first evolution and Idan's knowledge is limited. Gathering information and undergoing her evolution in the safety of the town is a good choice.

The third point would be the time they have left to spend in the forest. There are still 6 days left until she has to return to the Eternal Tree. She should appear a few hours earlier to avoid them seeing her return. She did promise to stay there the whole week.

6 days is a long time considering she is only around 2 days old. What she would focus on is getting some time to temper her body further and hunt some more beasts.

She needs to temper her body as it will give her an advantage over enemies on her own level.

And hunting would improve her combat ability.

The last "hunt" showed her that she has to improve. Her placement in battle, her observation, her body control, and her basic reaction. Finding mistakes, improving them as well as then applying them during a hunt would help her improve.

Having decided to do so both stand up and gather their things. Packing everything they decide to move on. Following the path out of the fighting arena, they arrive at a new part of the cave. An area Idan knows.

According to him, this area is the entrance area of the western exit.

And true to his words after five minutes of walking a stream of light appears on the other side of the cave.

Moving towards the stream of light. Slowly the outline of an arc appears ahead. A massive "hole" opens into the cave complex. As they near the exit they feel small. The exit is massive. At least 5 times Lar'ges height. An astonishing ten and a half meters.

Contrary to their expectations the sides are smooth, as if melted and polished. They give off a faint luster under the bright sun casting its light onto the smooth surface.

Stepping out of the dark cave they once again enter the light. In front of them, a small space is cleared of trees. In some tens of meters, the forest once again begins. Harboring dangers and opportunities.

"We will hunt first. We have discussed the points we have to be wary about and as long as we work together we should be able to defeat any prey below stage 5. Remember! Anything above stage 4 is a single target. Anything below is up to 3. You can go ahead and scout. Good Luck."

Once again confirming their goal they set out.

Striving for a kill.
