"Apparently I passed out before I could take the potion…" Luna grunted softly when she tried to move her face from Xiao Tianyao's care.

"You still want to abort the child." Xiao Tianyao remarked as his eyes darkened. He retracted his hand and waiting for her answer.

The bitter taste of the medicine still lingered in her mouth, she assumed Lin had taken advantage of her condition and concocted the medicine as bitter as possible.

Her eyes fluttered opened and she groaned when the light stung her eyes. Her sight was blur at first before she could make an outline of the perfect man before her eyes.

He was sitting while leaning his back against the bed pole, his body exuded a lazy charm that was enough to put her in another entrance moment.

"I never said that I don't want to keep it." Her brows clenched tightly when she tried to move her body, but Xiao Tianyao didn't move a finger to help her as Luna also didn't appreciate any help from him at the moment.

"Can't you at least give me a cup of water please?" Giving up her attempt to fetch the water by herself, Luna turned to Xiao Tianyao.

But, Xiao Tianyao didn't offer her a cup of water, instead he offered her his coldness as he turned around and left the room. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

She should expect that from him.

Her throat was burning, but her body was in great pain. A slightly moved of her muscle was as though thousand needles stabbed her guts.

Subconsciously her hand moved to her belly as she laid down tiredly. Ever since she knew about her pregnancy, she would find herself caressed her stomach to assure that the baby was still there.

The feeling was so strange for her, probably Xiao Tianyao was right, maybe she wanted the child.

With the baby, she felt not alone as if there was someone else accompanying her, someone who would never leave her, someone that she needed to protect…

Was her weak condition made her delusional?

Luna even thought about her future with her child, the child of her own. But, there would be only disaster if she insisted to keep the baby.

With pretext she would survive during the childbirth that she wasn't confidence that she would live long enough if her father learned she hadn't yet get rid of the child.

Her head was spinning as she closed her eyes, whether because of her poor condition or the things that occupied her mind, but the fact that she wanted the child rendered her speechless.

"What should I do?" Luna whispered to herself.

"Inform your father about your condition, perhaps?" Lin suggested.

Her voice startled Luna, she didn't aware of her presence until she spoke. Abruptly, her eyes opened widely as she glared at her.

However, Luna's attempt to intimidate Lin was lack of momentum because of her poor condition.

"What are you doing here?" Her throat was hurt when she tried to speak.

"Don't worry, Prince Xiao orders me to check on you, he said that you had regained consciousness." Lin dragged her word unnecessarily while pouring a cup of water. "He specifically said that you are thirsty. Here…"

Lin helped Luna to sit and brought the water to her lips so she could drink.

"I will not harm you." Lin widened her eyes innocently as she saw Luna refused to drink. "I will not do anything to you until your father told me to do so. Furthermore, you still can feel my true intention if I really want to poison you. Right?" She asked mockingly.

Luna knew that Lin wouldn't poison her, at least not now. But her power deteriorated, at this point she was barely aware of her surroundings.

"Do you think it will help, if you refuse to drink? You barely alive and Xiao Tianyao will have my head on his plate if you suddenly died." Lin voice slightly annoyed. This woman was always unreasonably alert for her own good.

After some moment of staring contest and consideration, Luna allowed Lin to help her drink. Eventually, she ended up drank two cups of water and felt slightly better.

"I seriously warn you to inform your father." Lin said while concentrating to check her pulse.

"Do you think I am in position to be able to give a message without being intercepted by Xiao Tianyao?"

Lin shrugged. "If you can't, then I will do." Lin put Luna's hand and fished out a small bottle from her pocket. "I have to report to him after all and you need to contact your brother eventually."

The bottle that Lin gave to Luna was her medicine that she hadn't yet drunk.

Luna opened the bottle lid and chugged it down before she slumped on the bed, resting her tired body while thinking what her next move.

"Omit the fact that I still carry this child in your report." Luna curled her body in fetal position as she felt her lids were getting heavier.

"Why do I have to follow your order?" Lin folded her arms in front of her chest defiantly.

"Because if you don't, I will make you."

"Hypnotize me?" Lin raised her eyebrows as a mocking smile appeared on her lips. "You barely alive, don't you say that I don't know that you are not able to use your hypnosis."

Luna opened her eyes and they were as clear as day, showing her astute and cunning nature. "Yes, I can't use hypnosis at the moment. But I still can tell Xiao Tianyao about your façade."

"No. you will not dare to do that." Her smug smiled disappeared as fast as it appeared.

"Try me and you will know." This time that smile was on her lips as she knew she got the upper hand. "A lesson from me; don't push a desperate person too far, because they have nothing to lose."

Lin didn't like to take an order from Luna, but she knew better to not provoke her.

"Do what I said." After that Luna closed her eyes again to have some rest.
