"Get down from the carriage!" One of the guards shouted at Ye Xiu.
The drawing picture of Xiao Jun, Mo Xuan Fei, Lin Xinyang and Qianru had been spread across the cities and had been known to all of the guards.
Actually, at this time Ye Xiu's entourage should have crossed the border, but because Qianru's critical condition they were slightly behind the schedule.

Ye Xiu glanced at the carriage as he got down from the coachmen seat.
"Give me your sword." The guard asked sternly as he stretched out his hand.
There were five guards that surrounded Ye Xiu and he could take them down in no time, however, if he made a commotion and drew more people's attention, then those thousand guards at the barrack, which was not too far from them, would attack him relentlessly and his chance to bring Qianru out from here would reduce to zero.
However, if they stayed and those guards figure out Qianru's identity, a fight would be the only option for them to survive.
Ye Xiu's eyes wandered at his surroundings, trying to calculate his best option to get away from this situation.
"Who is inside?" One of the guards was about to open the door of the carriage when Ye Xiu stepped in.
"There is my Mistress and her maidservant inside the carriage." Ye Xiu said politely. "Unfortunately my Mistress is not in good condition, so we have to cross the border immediately to reach our destination."
"I don't ask your permission!!" The guard raised his hand and hit Ye Xiu on his head.
Ye Xiu had seen this coming as he slightly moved aside to reduce the impact of the blow while pretending to fall on the ground as if the guard's punch really hit him hard.
Seeing Ye Xiu knelt before his eyes because of his punch, this fact boasted his pride as he walked slowly toward him.
"Don't meddle in our business!" He hissed and spat on Ye Xiu. "Open the carriage now and see if there is someone inside the carriage!" The guard talked to his fellow friend and gestured to open the carriage door.
Ye Xiu stared at them coldly, but kept his head low in order to not aggravate those guards further.
One of the guards pulled Jinse out while the other guard craned his neck to look inside the carriage and found the sleeping Qianru.
"There is another woman inside the carriage." The guard informed to the first guard. "But, I think he told the truth, this woman is sick."
The first guard stepped forward and looked inside the carriage as well and his brows scrunched together. "What happened to her?" He asked Ye Xiu disdainfully.
"Gentleman, I have told you that my Mistress is not feeling well, so we need to hurry and go to the other country for treatment." Ye Xiu lied smoothly.
"What happen with treatment in our country?" The other guard asked curiously. "There is no physician in our country that could cure her?"
Ye Xiu shook his head. "It's not like that, just the medicine that is needed, is not available here."
The five guards looked at each other and nodded their head.
"You can pass now." The seemingly leader of the guards waved his hand to let Ye Xiu drove away, however he stopped him again. "Let me see your Mistress's face, there are two wanted women who are on the run."
Jinse had tilted Qianru's head to the other side when she heard the commotion outside and arranged in such away so one would have hard time to see her face from the carriage door, but now they wanted to see her face.
Jinse's breath became sharp as she looked at Ye Xiu anxiously and this gestured didn't go unnoticed by those guards.
"What is it?" With piercing eyes, the guard looked at Jinse and then Ye Xiu. "Someone brings me the drawing picture!" The guard yelled his order.
Ye Xiu glanced at his sword that was held by the guard, who was standing a few meter away from him, he could snatch it and made an escape for Qianru and Jinse, but the problem was…
"Can you ride the carriage?" Ye Xiu asked Jinse faintly while those guards were talking to each other.
Jinse shook her head and looked at Ye Xiu apologetically and that was enough to ruin the short plan in his head.
Once they knew it was Qianru, one of the wanted people, they wouldn't have a chance to escape.
Ye Xiu gritted his teeth as he running out of options in situation like this, he tried to squeeze his brain by thinking of the solution, however there was nothing came up in his mind.
While Ye Xiu looked at the barrack that full with soldiers and calculated the distance between his spot and the border gates, the other guard had returned with four drawing pictures.
Jinse became too anxious to even raised her head, she kept fiddling with her fingers and her reaction didn't help at all in this situation.
