The two of them were standing face to face in the back garden of the east palace. Under the pale light of the moon, Modama's expression was so scary.
He walked toward Xiao Zi slowly as if he would pounce on him in any time.
"I will kill that ungrateful daughter of mine." He said in eerie tone.
Modama was surprised when he knew Qianru had the antidote of the poison that he had given Bai Yuyan.
He didn't believe it at first, but there was no other person that knew about this newly invented poison except from Gong Xu.
There must be something wrong with that if the other person knew how to cure this kind of poison.
He had beatened up Gong Xu, but that stubborn young man wasn't willing to spill any word about it, thus he had to ask his spy to check what was the problem with his two children.
And the news that he got truly shocked him.
His daughter had betrayed him and his son had been helping her. On top of that, Luna was pregnant. She didn't abort the child!
The potion that Modama had given to her must be enough to get rid of the child, but the fact said otherwise and he didn't need to use his head to think what Gong Xu had done behind his back.
If it wasn't because of the fact he still needed Gong Xu's skill with poison and medicine, he would have died by now instead of being injured.
