Qianru lifted her head abruptly and looked at her husband with disbelief. Xiao Jun invitation shocked her.
Did she hear it wrong?
She blinked rapidly, trying to see if Xiao Jun really asked her to come.
"What is wrong Qianru?" Xiao Jun asked with bemused expression. "If you don't want to come…"
"No, I will love to come with you…" She interjected Xiao Jun mid- sentence. Her face beamed with delight as she smiled brightly.
Xiao Jun chuckled by looking her reaction and stood up. "Alright, but first we need to head back home."
He reached out his hand to help her stood up as she bit down her lips and lowered her head bashfully, this was the first time Xiao Jun act like this when there were only the two of them.
Usually, he would act so concern like this only when there were other people around them, but now he was starting to warm up with her.
Qianru hoped everything would be better in the future.

Xiao Tianyao was staggering all the way to his room the moment he arrived at his mansion, looking for Luna.
Xiao Jun hit his head hard and that affect him greatly, if he was any ordinary person, he would be unconscious at this time. However, it still left him light headed.
The only thing in his mind was to see his woman and made sure that she was alright.
"Luna!" he shouted her name impatiently. "Where are you!?"
But, he couldn't find her. Xiao Tianyao rummage his room with no avail, he couldn't find her and that made him restless.
He dashed out of the room and rushed on the hallway, the moment he saw the old mama who he had assigned to taking care of Luna, he asked her breathlessly. The throbbing pain in his head was torturing him endlessly.
"Where is her!?" He snapped at the old mama, a bit harsh than he wanted.
The expression of shock was written all over her face, Xiao Tianyao never raised his voice at her. She had been taken care both Princes since they were only babies, so she knew their character very well.
Yet, before the old mama could say anything Luna appeared behind Xiao Tianyao. With her sweet voice, she called out his name.
"Are you looking for me?" Luna asked as she made her way toward Xiao Tianyao, a female maidservant followed behind her while holding a bowl of soup.
"Where are you!?" In his panic and agitation, Xiao Tianyao snapped at her.
Luna's expression remained the same, she didn't slightly bother with the sharp tone in his voice. In contrary, easily she made her way at him and rested her hand on the side of his face.
"I cooked something for you… why don't we eat?" She tilted her head at the female maidservant.
Still, Xiao Tianyao's eyes fixated at the woman in front of him and completely ignored her gesture. He pulled her slim waist closed to him.
Out of propriety, the old mama, the female servant and a few guards who were surrounding them turned their body to give privacy to their Master and Mistress.
Xiao Tianyo held her closed while his other hand was in her nape, urging her to look at him. "Don't make worry." He said softly as he closed his eyes and kissed her soft lips.
Luna reciprocated his kissed emotionlessly as she stared to the distance faraway behind Xiao Tianyao, wishing she wasn't there in the first place.
She had been living in hell with her father and this was another hell that she needed to going through. At least that was what she thought at the moment.
She felt empty beside his fiery passion…
