Kane's heart was touched, he had already accepted his fate of death but the female leader chose a dangerous path to save him. She was a warrior with brave and honor soul, by looking on her back during her charging to the beasts king, Kane felt like she had chosen to walk on a path of death with no regret.
At this moment, the emotion of frustrating was filling his heart. He hated himself, he could nothing to help her but just standing there and watched her back. What he needed was power, the power allowed him to save them.
During the moment Kane dabbling himself at the feeling of frustrating, he suddenly felt something flashed through his mind, he closed eyes and found a blurred image floating inside his mind. He wanted to look clearly the image on his mind, he concentrated and the image became clearer to him.
" The book? The book is inside my mind?! " Kane was shocked. The mysterious book was inside his mind, he wondered how could a book possibly existed in his mind. He didn't think too much about this, but he tried to connect with the book.
" I know you're not a normal book. You can teleport me to this weird place and I think you can even help to deal with those creatures, right? " Kane spoke to the book. He faintly believed that this book is not an ordinary book but with mysterious power inside it. If he were to get some energy from it, he maybe could help the soldiers in some ways.
Nothing had happened to the book. It just floated silently in his mind, he failed to communicate with the book.
The fight became more fierce, the female leader fought with the beast king and three gorillas at the same time. She had shown his great talent at battling, she had slain down one creature although fighting with the beast king. She was well-trained, she dodged all those creatures' attack and struck back many times, but she was about to approach her limit.
On the other hand, the soldiers focused all their strength to make a way of escaping. They had also a difficult time, the creatures were jumping around to prevent a direct fight with the soldiers. Those creatures even attacked them in many different directions in order to dissipate their force.
" That is no good, they need help. But I can do nothing… " Kane was in a panic, " Damn you poor book! You bring me to this dangerous place without giving me any means to survive. Now I am going to die, show me something that helps me. "

Now all his mind was filled with sharp bright light until there was no dark corner, the energy kept filling and nourishing his soul. Cold sweats fell down on his head, he moaned and heartbeat became fast.
" Flame Burst?! " These words were shown in his mind.
The cold sweats had covered his whole body, the pain still remained but he felt better now. He gasped as he just suffered intense pain, he took a deep breath to calm himself.
" It felt like something squeezed forcefully into my brain. Flame Burst? It sounds like some sort of magic name… Wait! These words are teaching me how to use magic. " He had yet to calm himself and kept gasping, he needed more time to return normally.
He could sense something he couldn't sense before, energy flew inside his soul as if water flowed in a river. There were many rivers in his soul, flowing to his mind as if he had a spiritual soul sea centered in his mind. The energy then flew back to every corner of his soul, it formed an energy cycle in it.
" I have a strong feeling that I can use some sort of power I don't have before. Let's give it a try. " Kane looked towards the direction of the female leader. She had reached her limit and currently was under the lower hand. Some gasps could be seen on her mouth and her speed got slower.
Kane raised both his hands to the front, directed his palms to the beast king. He focused his mind and felt the energy flow in his soul, the energy was flowing continuously from his spiritual soul sea to his palms. Kept accumulating and he sensed the energy was going to burst at any time.

" Is today my end? " She muttered to herself. She was full of unwilling as she was still young, she still had her own dream to pursue. No sadness and sorrow on her eyes as she was a warrior with honor and arrogant.
