Chapter 19 Chaos Battle (Survival Game)

Xiao Mo positioned her swords in a cross in front of her chest to block it. Her body shifted to the left and she rotated the long sword in her right hand with minimal effort at the same time. This motion has caused the strength of the baldie to lean even more forward. He felt all the strength in his body rushing out, but before he hit his mark, he was deflected and without realizing what happened, his whole body shot out in a direction.

He had difficulty controlling his strength now and nearly fell to the ground if not for his steady stance. It was fortunate for him as Xia Mo had barely any strength left and her proficiency in her dual wielding was still too low, if not he would be on the ground eating dog s***.

Seeing that the baldie had suffered, the short hair guy lifted his weapon – a thick wooden stick as thick as a young man’s arm, swinging towards Xia Mo. Although his attacks were all over the place, but with the thick and hard stick in his hand, it looked like an intimidating attack that could not be handled head on.

Xia Mo retreated and swung both of her swords at the same time, while observing for any openings. Unfortunately, it might be due to his good luck or he was doing his attacks on purpose in such a manner, she could not discover any opening and forced to move out of his attack range.

She frowned slightly because if she could not find any opening to attack his vitals in one hit, she would be at a disadvantage in a situation where she had to fight 2 men head on. If her opponents decided to attack her one at a time, she would be drained out and be exhausted. But her current situation did not allow her the luxury of time to wait for any opening, so she had to follow along the stream and ran in an “8” around the rock.

Even though Xia Mo’s body condition was not that great, but her balance was perfect. She used to be the top gymnast in the gymnastic team in her high school and used to represent her region and participated in the Nationals. If she was not slightly taller than the ideal height that a gymnast should be, she might become a word champion.

After enrolling into university, she did not focus and practice on her balance beam. However, gymnastics had provided her with the instinct and almost super human ability to balance was been imprinted into her brain and body movements. In her previous life, she did not take advantage of this ability, thus in this lifetime, she would not want her advantage to be eroded.

On a flat land, it was not too obvious. But to be sprinting on the rocky and jagged edge of the river, the difference in the ability to balance oneself was exposed. Xia Mo movements looked as though she was flying while she moved about on the big and small pebbles, whereas the 2 men who were chasing her clumsily and awkwardly, and could fell down anytime if they were not careful.

Xia Mo was able to controlled her speed and even moved around them. Although her swords could not hit the vitals of the short hair guy, but his body was being stabbed a few times by her. If not for the baldie who was following closely and attacking her fiercely, Xia Mo would have finished off the short hair guy.

Both men chased after her for a while and started to feel exhausted and pant heavily. But Xia Mo would not give them the chance for them to get close to her. The men were furious and looked at each other. They knew in their hearts what to do next and separated. They chased after her in a bigger circle and tried to surround her.

Upon seeing that they had split up, she knew what they were up to. They had to run about in a bigger circle but her movements were tight to begin with. She calculated the distance and decided that if she turned around and attacked the short hair guy first, she did not have to worry about the baldie. If she controlled her timing well, she would not be surrounded and be at the losing end.

Such a chance was difficult to find, but Xia Mo was not willing to give up.

She did not overthink as this would make her strong passion to execute a task die off. Although it was a wise decision to consider as much as possible, but in life, if one did not have the passion and eagerness, life would be meaningless. Even though her situation was a bit dangerous, if she did not risk it, she would not have any chance to turn the tide of the battle.

With her split second of weighing the pros and cons, she decided to rush towards the short hair guy. Using her simple style of dual wielding had made the man unable to block the attacks properly, and he suffered more damage over time.

Xia Mo had no intention to drag the battle, so her actions were sharp and cruel. The short hair man kept using the stick to block himself but the two swords in her hands no longer shared a similar pattern. Each sword in her hand had changed into their own attack style. Her aggressive attacks although not fast, but to a beginner, it was effective and forced him into a corner. The stick in his hand was filled with multiple sword strikes and slashes and was unrecognizable.

The short hair guy gritted his teeth and attracted all the attacks to himself, and was impatiently watching the baldie rushing over and raising his long sword on Xia Mo. The short hair guy was pleased with the situation, and Xia Mo detected something amiss. She turned around and was shocked. Immediately, she dodged but the attacks of the baldie was too fast, and she was left with a deep long wound on her arm.

The sudden pain made Xia Mo frowned. She did not flee but instead took advantage of this opening by stabbing towards the throat of the short hair guy.
