Hours passed since the Prince and Princess had followed Kyera into Ella Von's world of beauty and lace. Lost in conversation and design while word spread throughout the town that the Nobles were seen in the Peasant's quarter. Word traveled fast and reached the ears of a group of men nearby talking to a lady.

She raised a eyebrow as this information reached her ears. "She dares to bring those people here?" She growled glancing at her friends who seemed to be just as surprised.

"What can you expect from a traitor's daughter? Should we remind her of who she is?" A rather burly man asked but she chuckled shaking her head. The cunning evil look on her lips quickly changed, shifting to one of concern. Granted the face expression never reachable her eyes.

"I must show my sincerity and see if she's alright. After all, she took such pains to teach me well last we met." She purred standing and dusting off her tunic and skirt. Her pack nodded intending to follow where the She Jackal led. Granny sensed them coming and stood to her feet, only to be grabbed by the burly man. He tossed her back to the men behind him.

"Can't have the Crone getting in our lady's way." He growled as Granny cried out in alarm, crashing into the chest of another man. The sound enough to gain Kyera's attention as she and Ella came rushing out side.

"What is the meaning of this! Granny!" Ella cried trying to make her way across the grass to her grandmother's side. A Jackal shoved her to the ground knocking the smaller woman away. Ella whimpered in pain as her hip landed on a rock, piercing into her soft skin. It wasn't life threatening but the dress was surely ruined.

"Remember your place, cute little mouse." the jackal growled at her, his human face devoid of any humanity. The sinister expression better fit a monster.

"What is going on here? Have you no sense of decency?" Clovis roared rather angry to see such a scene take place right under his nose. He had no intention of letting it continue. The men acted as one almost, laughing at him.

"Sorry your, Highness, but your power has no meaning to us." The largest of the men growled. His dark mane fell wildy around his face, black eyes stared the prince down, wanting so badly to take a bite. The shock and anger on Clovis' face was enough to amuse him. His hand went to his weapon, and the Jackal laughed. "Pull your sword sir, we will see whose blood stains earth faster. Without your guard and those archers you are no match for 8 of us."

"Oh does it not? How about my authority? Has it no meaning to you as well?" Kyera demanded stepping down from inside, having watched this begin. The dress she was encumbered by slowing her from reaching the door as quickly as the others. The royal blue fabric was beautiful but heavy and cumbersome. Fire glowed in her eyes as they surveyed the scene. Two of the Jackals seemed ready to back down against her. Kyera was still their princess for one, but in all honesty they knew she was a warrior at heart. The woman stepped forward laughing at her.

"Getting fitted in your wedding gown, Princess?" She barked, mockingly at Kyera who raised her brow. This pack was surprised to see how indifferent their princess was to them as she looked at the girl on the ground. Fire flashed in Kyera's eyes.

"Unlike some my gown would be white." Kyera replied snarky, as she stepped forward, taking Ella's hand to help her stand. Clovis glared at them raising a hand to stop Kyera from coming closer.
