Kyera felt Kan and Half eye at her side, as both men knelt. Kan put his hand on her shoulder forcing his wild, fierce energy into her body, giving her the boost she needed. Half eye however, put his hand over hers and reinforced the healing, stopping the bleeding.
"Lady of Death, Mother of the Ravens please hear my plea. Into your hands I commend my friends fate, and his spirit to my father. I beg of you, don't take him from me too." "What happened? Send for the healer. Get Princess Kyera sitting down. She's still pregnant." Empress Vivian began barking orders. She didn't know what else to do. There were very few choices at a time like this. Bryson nodded and started to guide Kyera away, and Clovis picked up Raina in his warm embrace.
"Half Eye…?" Clovis asked and he shook his head slowly.
"It… it's up to the Raven. I… I can't do anything more, nor can your wife." Half Eye whispered shaking his head. The boy had lost so much blood and that was the hardest thing to restore in the body. It took so much energy just to keep his body pumping what little blood was left in his system.
"Take… take him to my palace. The spare room." Clovis whispered rocking his daughter gently. His own face was pale and dark. If Talis died, it was on his hands.
