Allan was able to compile a comprehensive report of all the companies sooner than Carl expected. He had also gotten a detailed report of the members. He realized making Allan his right hand man was definitely a good idea. He reasoned he was both smart and efficient.
With the report, Carl was able to tell someone messed with the account record. He decided to go pay visit to each company himself to understand the situation better. He knew he needed to fire a few persons. However, since he had not hired anyone yet, he let them be. After the inspection of every company, he made a list of who to sack, who to promote, who to demote. He realized the companies needed talented individuals to run along with his vision of expansion.
When he got home, he began working. He set up a website for Glass Holdings. This is a time of ITC, he knew that, hence the need to introduce the power of the internet to his company. Globalization is possible through the internet, if he wants to expand in this ever changing world, then he has to be up-to-date. He put up hiring ads on the site. Within the next few days, he was able to publicize it. He put Allan in charge of recruitment, and told him his expectation. He also gave Allen the task of hiring bodyguards, this was his forte after all.
After the recruitment, he had a meeting with the brothers to further discuss his vision and goals for the company. He began with the hotels, there was a need for improvement of service. They were understaffed and the services provided was unacceptable, so he gave instructions to Allan on how to improve the services and need for advertisement. He also instructed him to sell off the little houses, whatever proceed would be used in renovating the hotels. With that he told him the deadline for his new task. Allen was to train an elite force that would work directly under him.
With the guideline provided by their boss, Allan was able to fire, demote and promote the necessary persons and also place the new recruits in suitable positions. While Allen started training the men he recruited.
Carl further instructed Allan to pull out the weeds before compiling the needed information and he should be more detailed. He wanted to know everything about them, beginning from birth. He needed only trustworthy people.

Soon it was July 4th, Kim's birthday. Carl still hadn't decided what to gift her while Kim was preparing for their "movie night".
After moving in the mall for a while, he bought a little chocolate cake with a little "happy birthday" on it. He got her a charm bracelet. He felt it wasn't enough so he bought a lot of snacks and junk food especially for her since she liked eating junk. He also went to a book store to get few textbooks on Law. He decided to cover all three bases; something girly, what she wanted, but wouldn't buy herself and what she needed, just in case she wasn't satisfied with one option. He wrapped up the books and bracelet separately, as for the snacks, he didn't bother with wrapping, she would devour them all tonight. With this thought, he started smiling, he couldn't help but imagine her face while munching her favourite chips, hating on a character from one of her dramas.
When he got home, it was 6pm. Kim had just finished taking a shower, she was in the living room in her towel. Though the towel covered the critical places, part of her bossom was exposed and the towel was short so her legs were on display. He couldn't help but stare at the woman before him, his heart went into a frenzy. The water dripping from her black hair made her seem ethreal, her eyes were clear and bright, her legs were long and slender, he wanted to kiss those beautiful legs. Internally he wished her towel would drop to the fall, however he quickly scolded himself for having such thoughts.
