"Say ahh," Carl called out again. He wasn't sure if Kim would let him feed her again. This was his golden chance. Kim grudgingly opened her mouth again. She really wanted to cry. How could she only drink soup. She swallowed the soup, "Husband, I want that one, she said, pointing to his food."

A glint flashed through his eyes, "The doctor said you can't eat that, you can only eat soup for now," Carl said teasing her. When Kim gave him the eye, he knew it was time to stop. "But if my wife insists, I can only indulge her, don't you think?" He said pulling the plate closer after setting aside the bowl for the chicken soup.

"Husband try this, you've been feeding me, you should also eat." She said, picking up her own spoon.

The other customers felt they had heard and seen enough today. The lady in her 40's couldn't help but complain in her heart, why are they showing off their love for each other? She hated public display of affection the most because her husband was quite rigid, deep down, she really wanted him to also indulge on her. She was jealous of Kim. She looked at her partner who was silently eating by himself, she sulked.

Using that excuse, Kim began eating too in less than five minutes, she had cleared the dishes forgetting about her "husband". Carl stared at her in awe, unconsciously, his eyes trailed from her face to her stomach. "Is there a monster in there?" He asked rubbing her stomach.

Kim frowned, "What are you trying to say?" Carl laughed, "Don't you think it's nice?" Kim looked at him in confusion. "What?"

"Eat more, so I can feel more." He said winking at her. She guffawed. "Husband, you're so naughty today. But I'm sick so no touching."

"It doesn't matter, just keep eating." He quickly called the waiter to bring more food. The lady in her 40's lost her appetite. She dropped her spoon on the table loudly attracting the other customers. She got up, leaving her husband behind. "Women." He said, shaking his head. He did not try to go after her too.

Both Kim and Carl were not interested in others, they did not think they were the cause of the lady leaving the restaurant so they continued flirting openly. They assumed it was her partner's fault. They weren't far from the truth either.

After eating to her heart's content, Kim could not move, she felt stuffed. It was not her fault to assume she could eat more. The food was delicious and she did not want to waste it. "Husband, I feel like I'm dying," she said, placing her hand on her side like she was pregnant. She probably was, but with food. Carl laughed at her.

"Darling, let's go, I'll buy you medicine." He said helping her up. "You can go seat in the car while I settle the bills," he added handing her the car keys. She left the restaurant, rubbing your stomach. The owner enjoyed their reaction, he couldn't help but ask, "Married early, huh?"

Carl smiled, not answering his question. The owner took his smile as confirmation of happiness. "She really makes you happy.. I hope my daughter meets a good man too." Carl brought out his card to pay before replying, "She does. I'm sure your daughter will find someone special too."

After making payment, he hurriedly left the restaurant. As he walked out, he felt light, like he had no problems whatsoever. When he got into the car, Kim was still rubbing her stomach, "Is this the end?" She questioned. She had never eaten so much before, she felt sick. She wanted to throw up so bad. Carl ruffled her hair, "Hold on, let's go to the pharmacy."

He started the car, wanting to speed away when she complained, "Please slow down, it's too fast, I'll throw up." He immediately slowed down. "I feel the car is shaking too much is quite inconvenient." She complained. "Bear with it, we'll soon be there." He said rubbing her back hoping to help her find relief.

After buying drugs to facilitate digestion, he drove to a park so she could take a stroll. But she was too tired to move, he spread the blanket on the grass and they laid on it. Kim felt so weakened that she dozed off her a few minutes. Carl was awake watching her sleep, he caressed her hair from time to time, helping her relax more. Then he covered her legs with the blanket.

After spending time in the police station explaining they were certainly not criminals, the two men were finally let off with a warning. They decided to take a walk back home. For some reason, they went through the pack and so Carl and Kim lying on the ground.

They were so mad they wanted to go stomp on Carl. They had spent their time looking for Carl with no result. They even got arrested after being mistaken for criminals and the idiot and the guts to caress and cuddle with a girl in public. How unfair. As if on cue, Judith called them.

"So has he been found? Dead or alive?" She questioned. She was on her way to see Ryan to beg him to come home but she was really curious if Carl was still alive. "Yes, he's alive, he just returned" They conveniently lied. Judith held her phone tightly in her hands, grinding her teeth. She hung up and sped over to her parents'.
