Jayne's eyebrows knitted. She looked to her left from where she could hear the noises. It seemed like the noise was deliberately being silenced. That was the door to the storeroom. 'Is anybody trapped in there?' Her eyes widened on that thought. Suspiciously, she opened the door.
The sight before her shocked her extremely. Three male employees had huddled a woman employee into a corner and were harassing her.
The woman employee was begging them to let her off and not harm her. But, the men were eying her viciously and asking her not to make any noise and it'll all be over in minutes.
Jayne barged inside. "What the hell are you trying to do to her?"
The woman immediately ran towards Jayne like she'd found her saviour. She hugged Jayne, "Ma'am..p-please help me!" she was clearly shocked and helpless.
Jayne comforted her just like Ronnie does to her. She hugged her and rubbed her back slowly, "It's alright! I'm here. You are safe."
The men started panicking. They had planned very carefully to finish the deed soon without a clue before anybody would come. But, to their misfortune, their boss herself caught them in the act.
They began panicking. They felt like their soul was leaving their body. They very well knew that they could target their boss else Ronnie would peel their skins and let them die without a clue. Now, they all huddled themselves to a corner.
By then, the other employees informed the security to take over. Jayne sent the female employee to the doctor for a checkup.
She went back to her office and sent over their letters of dismissal and fired them immediately before handing them over to the cops. But all this took a toll over her suddenly and she fainted at her office.
Jayne's assistant decided to immediately called up Ronnie.
Ronnie had just then convened a meeting. He had returned back to his office. He was checking some files which needed his signatures when he felt his left eye twitching. He frowned but continued to work. His office landline rang.
"Yeah?" He spoke after receiving the call.
The assistant on the other end blurted out everything to Ronnie.
The assistant's words shocked him. 'Jayne is at the company? What is she doing over there? How could she faint?' He felt his heart beating faster, so fast that he felt it'd pop out of his mouth.
He hastily left his office.
Daniel West had already prepared the car. In the next ten minutes, they reached the company. On the way, he summed up the incident which happened at the company.
Ronnie saw Jayne lying on the bed at the Company's clinic. Her face was extremely pale.
He dashed towards her. "Jayne, are you alright? What's all this?"
Jayne was delighted to see her husband. She sat up on the bed and hugged him. "Let's go home."
Ronnie just scooped her up in his arms protectively and carried her out. He didn't even care that he was at the company and people were looking at them. That's because only he knew the gravity of the situation and the kind of shock it'd have caused to Maya.
Virat had an appointment with another company in the same locality. He happened to pass by Roy Industries exactly at the same time when Ronnie was carrying Jayne in his arms. But, her face was buried deep in his chest.
Virat suddenly felt strange, 'Why do I've the same feeling that my Maya is here? I can feel her presence here. But, she isn't to be seen anywhere. I'd a similar feeling the other day at the pastry shop and today here? Why?' He ran his fingers through his hair anxiously.
Though Virat couldn't make out the girl, he very well recognised Ronnie. He strode towards the pair.
