Virat waited for Jayne to finish her classes. Later, he saw her getting into a car. He continued to tail her.
Now, the driver dropped her off at the company. Virat then remembered the last time he was here. 'My intuitions could never have gone wrong with respect to Maya. He confirmed that the last time he'd come here, it was Ronnie Roy who had carried his Maya. The employee had told him that she heads the Roy Industries now, which is something she is most capable of!'
'He also confirmed that the first ever time he saw Maya was at the pastry shop. The lady behind the counter had told him, it was a woman named Jayne Roy who is none other than his Maya.'
He was totally lost in his thoughts that he didn't realise the entire afternoon had passed. It was already evening and Ronnie Roy had come to pick his Maya. He saw them walking out of the office hand in hand all smiling and greeting their employees on the way.
Her eyes met with his for a brief moment. But Jayne neither paid attention to him nor recognise him yet again. She only looked lovingly at her husband. He had never seen this kind of sparkle in her eyes even when she loved him.
Virat thought, 'I wonder if she still remembers, what she had told me once… I love you forever Virat! But then, that day I ignored her words. Because for me it was only on a physical level. Never once did I think what I'd do if she stopped loving me…Now after years, it's me who's madly in love with her.. I don't think I can ever stop loving her!' Virat mocked at himself.
By then, he saw them getting into the limousine along with another lady (AN:Shirley Symonds) and the car sped away.
Virat too followed them all the way up to the Roy Mansion. So, by the end of the day, he pretty much got to know her daily routine. He left back to his apartment after that.
When he went back home, Sanvi wasn't home yet. He didn't even turn on the lights. He sat in his room totally gloomy. He himself didn't know what was happening to him.
Sanvi came home after an hour. She saw that the lights weren't turned on. She shouted, "Virat? Where are you? Are you alright? Are you running a fever?" She switched on the lights. But Virat wasn't to be seen anywhere.
She strode towards his room and found it locked from inside. She knocked on the door. "Virat? Are you there? How are you feeling? Did you eat anything?"
"Sanvi, I'm alright. Don't worry! I'll be back soon. You must have dinner and sleep." Virat shouted from inside.
"Are you sure Virat?" Sanvi's voice was full of concern.
"I'm Sanvi. Don't worry." Virat answered.
"Okay then Virat. You can warm up your dinner before eating. I'll keep it on the kitchen counter. Don't forget to eat Virat. Goodnight!" Even Sanvi was too tired after a long day of work. She had already eaten with her colleagues. So she directly went to her room, showered and fell asleep.
Virat hadn't eaten anything all day. He didn't even have the appetite to eat now. So, he too showered and lied on the bed. Thinking of all the events which happened from last night, he couldn't fall asleep. He got up and poured a drink for himself and began smoking standing alone in the balcony….
The next day, he didn't stay at home. He got ready and was about to leave to his office with Sanvi when she saw that he hadn't eaten anything all day right from morning.
"Virat? What's wrong? Why haven't you eaten anything?" She asked him.
"Oh Sanvi! Don't worry. I'd some work. So, I ate with a client." Virat lied.
"Who is that client whom I'm not aware of? Wait a minute, weren't you on a sick leave yesterday, how could you work Virat?" Sanvi looked at him with suspicion.
"Sanvi, it was planned days ago. So I'd to go. Now, don't worry on this. Let's leave. It's getting late!" Virat tried to makeup a reason.
Sanvi checked her watch. "Oh yeah Virat! Let's leave soon. We'll grab a bite at the cafeteria." She hurriedly hung her bag and walked out of the house, locked and left.
Virat was working on the hardware components of a Security related project. Though he was still an intern, because of his extraordinary skills, he had become one of the most important employees of his team.
Hence, he couldn't absent himself from work for long. Thus, he had no option but to come to work. He decided to go to Maya's company in the evening after work to catch a glimpse of her.
After work, Virat came up with an excuse and left early to Maya's company. He was sitting at a cafeteria's garden area which was right opposite to the Roy Industries. From there, he could clearly see Maya's office. His beautiful Maya was totally immersed in her work. Virat kept gazing at her
Ronnie finished his work and came as usual to pick his wife. He was in a relaxed mood taking occasional glances outside the window. When they'd almost arrived at the company, he saw Virat sitting at the cafeteria sipping on coffee while smoking. "Hey isn't he the one who rescued Jayne the other day?"
He asked his driver to stop. He got down and walked towards Virat.
Virat was totally absorbed in looking at Maya's office that he didn't notice that Ronnie Roy was standing next to him!
