Next to the General's office was another room where the records of the flood affected people was being maintained by an officer. It was slightly crowded since people kept coming in for enquiries.

Jayne got an idea, 'Why don't I go in and check if I can get any information till Ronnie comes back? Yes let me go.'

Just as she was about to step inside, the subordinate officer came to her, "Ma'am you left this in the jeep." He gave her a packet. It was the winter wear given by Da Nuru.

"Oh thank you so much sir! This packet means a lot to me." She thanked him and carefully placed it inside Ronnie's bag.

She continued to talk to him and totally forgot about going to check the records of the flood affected people.

Little did she know that her photo was already pinned under 'Missing' on the notice board right behind the wall where she was standing and talking to the subordinate.

On the other side, Ronnie went inside and called his Assistant. Daniel very well knew that his boss would call for further instructions. "Dan, it's me. The other two members aren't coming with us. So, it's just the two of us."

"Yes boss!" but he frowned totally confused on what was happening.

"Also, the guests I mentioned. His name is Da Nuru. They are admitted at the Army hospital. Take care of the rest." Dan curtly said.

"B-Boss are you fine?" Dan stuttered.

"Don't worry Dan nothing is wrong with me. We'll be boarding our flight in some time now. You take care of what I mentioned." Dan declared.

By now Daniel had known his boss's every temper. "Understood boss!"

Then Ronnie hung up. Then the General handed him their tickets and other essential documents.

Ronnie was about to leave when he suddenly remembered, "Sir by the way, regarding Jayne, if there's any information about her, please let me know. I will post a picture of her after we get back along with her other details."

The General nodded. "Sure sir, once this flood issue settles down, I'll do everything I can to find about her."

Ronnie held out his hand, "General thanking you is too less a word. All I can say is, if there's anything you want from me anytime, feel free to get back to me at anytime. Here is my contact number," and he wrote down his number.

The General held out his hand. Ronnie shaked hands with him and they both walked out. They saw that Jayne was talking to the subordinate.

Ronnie walked up her and said, "So all done for now. Shall we leave then Jayne?"

Jayne took a deep breath and said, "Yes!"

All four of them walked towards the parking area and got into the jeep and drove towards the airport.

As Jayne and Ronnie entered the airport, the General too accompanied them inside the airport. They didn't have any baggage except Ronnie's backpack.

They showed their tickets and got their boarding pass. They finally got through the security check. Due to the General's presence all the formalities got over very quickly. They still had lots of time left.

Ronnie said, "General please join us. Let me treat you to a meal at least."

The General smiled and said, "My pleasure sir!"
