While Ronnie was busy making his proposal special for Jayne, on the other side in X city, the flood rehabilitation program was going on in full swing. That day, early morning when the entire city was still asleep, some miscreants bombed a few parts of the city. They mainly targeted the Army areas since they were very hostile towards them.

The Police and Army across the entire city got alert messages on their walkie-talkies.
BOMBING LOCATIONS? OVER!
After they got the locations, they sent their forces to all the bombing sites closest to their location.
One such place they targeted was the Army Hospital. The maximum number of casualties occurred at the Army Hospital. The patients were evacuated to safer areas. The record rooms were all burnt in the fire including the place where the flood affected persons details were maintained. Fire personnel began working in full force to extinguish the fire. But finally none of the records survived.
On the same day, Ronnie's team arranged by Daniel West arrived at C city to conduct background research and gather as much information as possible about Jayne.
As soon as they arrived they got to know the news of the bombing. Their only possible way to connect to the flood victims was through the records maintained. It seemed like their mission ended before it even began since all the records were burnt and destroyed.

Virat suddenly woke up from his sleep with a cold sweat. His breathing was erratic. He was hugging the Mickey Mouse bag to comfort himself while sleeping. From when he had found the bag, he made sure to have it with him all day all night.

While standing in the lonesome, quiet, peaceful night he lost himself in deep thoughts while hugging the Mickey Mouse bag, "Where are you Maya? With whom are you staying right now? I don't even know what are the likely conditions you are in right now. Even the Army personnel haven't given any updates on your whereabouts. What is happening Maya? Why is it taking so long my love? I just hope you are fine wherever you are. Please keep yourself safe Maya."
He sipped another mouthful of water and turned melancholic, "With each passing day, why do I've this feeling that you are going further away from me? Don't forget that someone is waiting for you my love.. every day, every minute, every second. Please come back to your love."
He looked heavenwards at the full moon, "Do you even know how much I'm missing you Maya? It's been more than a month since I saw you. The longest time we've parted from each other in these four years. Please come back soon Maya." his eyes flooded with tears and started flowing down his cheeks.
He hugged the bag tighter like as if it was his last resort, only hope to find Maya. This time he didn't stop himself and cried till he was exhausted.
