I looked at the amount of caskets. It had to be the second largest amount I've seen. "Are you sure each one of these-" Jamie leaned next to me.

"Yes, they all are students. I was part of the cleanup. We've made sure that there are no uncounted bodies. Well, except for one, one that has only 7 witnesses to it."

"Naomi." Jamie sighed. "Are we sure she willingly sacrificed herself?"

"Yes," Pisces appeared behind Jamie, "She told me the night before, if we weren't to find any other way to kill him, she would give her life to do it."

"Before you go any further," I looked around, "Where are Bill and Scorpio?"

"They're still in town. Scorpio spilled the beans earlier, so now the family's taking them to eat somewhere." I rolled my eyes. "Great. Well, we might as well start now." I held my wand up, and focused on the internal workings of it.

A majority of wands work purely on the user's magical ability, but mine is similar to using gears to increase the RPM of a spinning toy. It's infused with certain materials and magic so I don't have to focus on both my body and the wand, instead just on the wand. I pointed it to the sky, and shot off a red flare. A series of other flares shot off throughout the area. "Good morning everyone!" Chasan's voice boomed through the slightly damaged speakers, "I hope you got at least some sleep. A majority of you were not able to make it today, recovering mentally or physically. But, for those of you who are here, I appreciate it. I always value my students over all else, and seeing this massive amount of them, all dead," He turned the microphone off, then back on, "It pains me. However, it is tradition that we burn the bodies, as to not let anything corrupt them." He pointed upward, and an arrow fell form the sky, igniting the pile. Akumura looked at the arrow sitting in the middle of the pile. "Is that?"

"One of the arrows from the tournament, yes. Angels and Demons have their own weapons they can call upon at will. Jamie most likely can call a cartridge of bullets, or even shoot one down from the sky. An evolved version of Chasan's bow and arrow. I'm not sure about Bill though. He's shown himself to be proficient in a lot of fighting styles, broadsword, katana, scythe, hand-to-hand, and even using knives. If I were to guess anything, he may be able to summon swords. He seems most comfortable with it, despite having the option of a scythe." A group of people looked at me. "What? You've never seen someone giving an explanation?" They turned their heads, and watched the blaze.

"So," I looked at Akumura, "You've got some explaining to do."

"You've had my soul, you already know exactly what happened!"

"Not entirely," I pointed at him, "I still have no idea about Aleister."

"Uggh, fine." His eyes started glowing red, and his hair turned white. "I know, I know. We didn't really want anyone finding out for a reason though. It's a pretty simple matter, being Dracula's son usually warrants some, negative, reactions. If you remember, he was originally killed in the 1400s, I was the one who did that. I fled, one thing led to another, and I ran into Akumura. He was a Japanese trader looking for business, but was mistaken for a soldier and was killed in Naples during a battle. He wasn't at rest for some reason, I'm still not sure why, so his soul remained there for a few decades, until I found it." I pulled a small notepad out of my robes, "So," I wrote the words 'Unrested Souls' at the top of the page, "What do you know about unrested souls?"

"I know what you're doing. You're already trying to cram divination in your head, I'm not gonna tell you another subject for you to become obsessed with." I glared at him, "Fine. I won't for now."

I sat on my bed. I needed to know more. My breed of fairy's whole purpose was information gathering. We live exactly to gather information and report it back to whoever our king is. The king. I closed my eyes, crossed my legs, and looked for my father's energy.

I stood up and looked around. I was back home. Well, where I considered home for most of my life. I only lived with my dad for two years, two with Iscariot, and the other 10 with my mom. "Brit?" He turned around. When most people think of fairies, they think thin, short, neon hair with the worst choice of clothing imaginable, but that wasn't my dad. He stood somewhere around 9 or 10 feet tall, was probably the most muscular person I've seen, had short, black hair and a well kept beard, and wore a pretty regular suit. "Yeah. What're you doing here?"

"Oh, I was looking for something." I crossed my arms, "If you were mourning, it's fine. I miss her too, you know. We can show emotion, we're not pixies." He sighed, "Fine, I am. I miss her sometimes, you know?" I nodded, "Yeah, I know."

"Why are you here though?"

"Well, I was wondering about something. I've got a friend, well, a roommate, who's got two souls. A human and a vampire, and the human one is what he referred to as 'unrested'. Any idea what that could be?"

"Working with souls? That's something only bloodlines of the first of their races can do. As fairies, we can't do anything with those. The most we can do with the soul is cleanse it, in a sense, after death. I have no clue about the other three race's use of them, especially vampires." I sighed, "I thought so..."

"Were you hoping your mom's soul would be like that?" He put his hand on my shoulder, "She would be tortured. Your friend probably is too. If a fairy is unable to cleanse an unrested soul, it wanders the Earth, looking for hosts. They possess them, unless the host willingly took them in. The whole time though, they suffer. Stuck in a constant loop of agony and fear of whatever they lost or never accomplished."

"I see. So what you're getting at is mom's better off where she is, instead of a disembodied soul."

"Precisely. Before I go, you should visit some time, in person."

"I told, you," I slowly felt my energy leaving the area, "after school's done."
