Chapter 62 - There were no forever friendships between businessmen, just forever profits
Nie AnAn arrived at the Nie’s exactly at 10 AM on the morning of the 1st.
This was her first day there, and she started her work after a small chat with Mother Nie.
The Nie’s paid her very well. Most nutritionists were only responsible for the matching of nutrition and balancing diet, but Nie AnAn had the added responsibility of preparing lunch. Which was why the Nie’s were paying her $100,000 a month.
She needed to make a shopping list for the servants of the Nie’s the night before. The servant would go and buy fresh ingredients the next morning and prepare them for grandpa according to Nie AnAn’s recipe.

By noon, Nie AnAn had already prepared a table full of delectable food, and everybody sat around it and started eating.

As everyone was enjoying their lunch, someone walked in briskly.
As he was walking in, Nie ChengFeng smiled and said, “You guys didn’t even wait for me?”
Mother Nie gave him a look and said, “We don’t need you here. These are only enough for us. We don’t have enough for you too!”
Nie ChengFeng quickly went to wash his hands and his chopsticks, walked over to Nie AnAn, and found a spot to squeeze in. He picked up a piece of beef first before he smiled and said, “Mom, that’s not right! It’s not good to eat alone, and it’s not good for the harmony within a family, so I have decided that I will come home to lunch every day from here on out.”
Mother Nie was totally enjoying her meal. Naturally, she understood the lesson in the fox versus the crow story. She wasn’t going to stop eating and talk to Nie ChengFeng.
The crowd quickly finished all the food. The meal was finished in 13 minutes.
“AnAn, you and your brother eat like this every night?” asked Nie ChengFeng casually.
