While everything in the previous chapter was going on, Eva had gone out of her room and headed towards the kitchen. She had gone out because she wanted some milk in the middle of the night. But, since she was hesitant to enter the looming darkness, she brought Libra with her.

She moved her head back and forth but couldn't see anyone there. Eva didn't know that there was a person up in the ceiling, waiting for the right time to strike. Libra looked up at the ceiling and then smiled.

Without warning, Zhujiao came crashing down on the floor. Libra made sure to control it enough so that Zhujiao wouldn't wreck the floorboards when he fell. If he didn't, either Felicia or Cole would come cracking on his case.

Zhujiao had recovered a bit and lifted his upper body to correct Eva.

Eva's face turned into one of shock but it quickly turned into one of suspicion, not towards Zhujiao, but towards Libra.
"Big Bro Libra, are you sure that's what he actually said?"

Libra had put on an angelic smile that would make anyone believe that they told no lies. Even when the house was shrouded in darkness, it looked like they had a shining halo above them.
But Eva didn't feel like trusting that face. There were a few times where Libra had tricked her which was why she stried suffocating him with a pillow earlier in the day.
'Maybe that's why the other half of him looks like a devil sneering at me...'
While Libra still had a smile on their face, they could see a pair of scales floating over Eva's heads with the words 'trust' teetering on them. The longer the seconds went by, the more the scales started tilting to the bad side.
Just as Eva was pondering if she could really trust Libra's words...
"What are you doing so late at night?"
The main door had opened without their knowledge and Cole was already behind Libra and Eva.

Hearing his familiar voice, Eva instantly spun into his direction and clamped onto his leg. Rather than a bunny, she looked more like a Koala this time around. Cole let her be and then moved his sight to the Zhujiao who was still on the ground.
His eyes were sparkling and he had enthusiastically called Cole his 'Shifu'. He didn't care for his appearance and only seemed to be asking 'How did I do?' with sparkling eyes.

Zhujiao drooped his head down in disappointment but then quickly propped it back up with the thought of 'As expected of Shifu!'

Cole shooed Zhujiao away and gave him directions to his room and poured Eva some milk. Felicia also finally came out of her portal with a very satisfied face. Cole still had something to talk about with her so he had Libra bring Eva to her room.

"Fueh? Wait, my milk--"
Without any hesitation. Libra grabbed Eva and sped upstairs to her room. The only sound left was the rattling of Eva's abandoned milk glass that was about to fall.

Felicia turned on the lights and started brewing some coffee. She had a feeling Cole wasn't planning on sleeping yet.

Felicia's actions slowed and her eyes slowly started losing focus, as if she was staring at something far, far away.
