Chapter 2 Warrior intelligence outpost

"What? You want to be a hunter? !"

Nange’s father put down the spoon and watched Nange straightly as his bushy eyebrows rose higher and higher, as if he saw some strange monster. Nange lowered his head slightly, avoided his father's eyes, and drank the soup slowly.

"Do you really want to be a wandering hunter?"

"Well," Nange looked up. "I'll be eighteen tomorrow, and I'd love to see the outside world."
"What a ridiculous idea," said the father. "What's wrong with Rado? I have been travelling extensively through the world and only picked Rado to stay. To be honest, I don't ever want to go out in anytime... You have no idea how bad the world is out there, boy.”

"Dad," said Nange. "I am a man. Calm days are for the girls like my sister. What's so bad about been a hunter going out into the world?""

"Kiss my ass!" The enraged father stood up and walked to Nange, grabbed his collar and dragging him to the door, pulling the door open by the left hand, and threw him out, then Nange fell on the sand in front of the door.

"Boom!"

The door closed.

"Let the cool wind wakes you up!"

Father’s voice spreads far in the night...

Nange gives a wry smile, lying full length on the ground and looking up at the gray sky, which looks very uncomfortable.

Inside the locked door, a beautiful big eyes sneaked out from the crack. It was Nannan, the twin sister of Nange.

"Dad, my brother is quite serious this time."

"I can tell. The father mused, "a wild horse is born, but it doesn't matter after all, I hope he will be careful of it... you shall go to bed and leave him alone."

She answered and went to her room. Father smiled, sat back on the stool, and ceased to drink the soup.

Daybreak……

After a terrible night's sleep, Nange rubbed his eyes and got up from the ground, feeling nothing but sour. He stood up dusted himself down, and walked towards the warrior intelligence outpost of the town. At the bar, yesterday, he said casually that the Red Wolf had come to Rado for the war trucks under the pit, which was his guess. Nevertheless, he really wanted to know what the Red Wolf was doing. If the Red Wolf is here, as a bounty hunter, his former place would be the warrior intelligence outpost, where he can check arrest warrants and receive bonus.

"Red Wolf? "He didn’t show up," said Mr. Muggle, who was chubby and somewhat runny. According to the computer data, we only have the water monster brothers nearby, the reward is low, maybe Red Wolf feels not worth to catch them, he probably just happened to pass by our town yesterday.

This simple answer disappointed Nange.

The room of the warrior intelligence outpost is not very large. There are several wanted notices on the walls, most of which are highlighted in red, indicating that the wanted have done. Only two of the same notices stood out, and that was the water monster brothers mentioned by Mr. Muggle.

Nange had long noticed the bounty, two thousand and five hundred dollars, which was low compared to other wanted criminals, but it was still an impressive figure for him. He came out of the gate while brooding.

"What happened to you, Nange? Being kicked out by your father again?"

He smiled, didn't say a word, and turned away. The woman who came up took him by the hand and made him into the door.

"Aunt Parle, don't be like this." Nange blushed but without any struggles.

Parle went to her desk, opened the computer and clicked a few times with her mouse. Photos and text of the red Wolf immediately appeared on the screen. Nange looked at the red Wolf's face in a Wolf mask. His heart beats fast.

"Nange, are you really going to be a hunter?"

"Yes!" said Nange. "But, how do you know?"

Parle smiled. "You and your father argue so loudly that all people in Rado know about it. I know that you are an ambitious child, so I hope you will promise me one thing.

"What is it? He blankly looked at the excited face of aunt Parle.

"I bet you'll be like the Red Wolf," said aunt Parle. I want you to come back to me every time you complete a heroic deed, tell me your story, I want to record in the computer word for word!

"That's no problem," said Nange. "But, aunt Parle, what's the use for you?"

"Of course it is useful!" Parle's face was filled with happiness, and with the extraordinarily gentle voice "Because... the Red wolf is... is the idol in my heart!"

"But I am not The Red Wolf!"

"I know you 're not him," Parle said with a smile. "But you are walking the same way as him, when I watching you grow up, I saw him!"

Red wolf! What an arrogant name!

Will I be the next Red Wolf?

Nange thought about it...
