The note mentioned Tom had died in their hands and if she continued to act willfully more people will die. She cried of anguish. She could not believe he is truly gone. Chris was waiting for Jen to head to the hospital where Tom is after receiving April's phone call. Chris still remember the event that led to the union of him and Jen. One morning, plain clothes police officer came to his office looking for him. He was told that Jen's brother was kidnapped because she refused to cooperate to harm him and his family. He wanted to call her and asked her why didn't she come to him instead but knowing her, he understood why. She has always been self sufficient and strong. She relied on her capabilities and effort to advance forward. She didn't want him to misunderstand her intentions as well.
After her brother's ordeal, he decided to tell her how he felt for her and he was glad that she felt the same way too. Since then, their relationship had been steady. Jen is an easy going person and does not require much and easily pleased. He finds her very pleasant and refreshing. Those socialites ladies are just too tiresome. He is alright with her background and in fact he likes it that she works hard to achieve her dream. She loves it when he pampers her but she would reproach him if he overdo it.
They entered the hospital hand in hand, they informed the doctor that they think they know the unidentified man. The doctor brought them to meet Tom and imagine Jen's horror when she saw him. She recognised him immediately. Her face turned pale and she wanted to pounce on him and beat the hell out of him for making her brother go through such an ordeal.
Chris had to restrain Jen and remove her from the room and calm her down. He then called April to confirm with her the man in question.
April was shocked to find out about Tom's involvement in Ken's abduction. After analyzing, and discussing with Derek they decided to move Tom to the military hospital under Derek's arrangements. Tom was still unconscious and he may have the answer to Crystal and Heather's plans.
Chris promised Jen that once Tom wakes up she can do whatever she wants to him but she must promise to at least keep him alive. He might be useful especially when their enemy is still in the dark. Only then Jen relaxed and could accept the fact that the Lee and the Lu family reason for saving Tom.
Kwi Shan was contacted to dig deeper into Tom's activity for the past few months. She told them she needed at least one day to go through all his actions. After few hours Kwi Shan informed that Tom indeed was responsible for Ken's abduction and had been in and out of radar for the past few months. There was a rare footage of him and Crystal exiting a cinema. It was a lucky footage because someone bumped into Crystal and caused Crystal to face the CCTV unknowingly. They appeared intimate in the footage.

She found his wallet in a dustbin about 20 km from where he was stabbed. The beggar threw the wallet away after spending the money he looted. The jacket was found on a homeless man, whom the beggar owed a sum of money. Hence, the expansive jacket was used as a payment token. The poor homeless old man was tortured so badly and could not take the beatings that he passed away during the torture session but it really wasn't his fault that he was the unlucky recipient. Just a cruel fate and luck.
April was ready to come home, once she is back, she will join the company in the food industry and she is ready to put her approved proposal into actions. She is confident the project will be a success. Adam was rushing to complete his marriage proposal preparation. Derek advice for him is just do it straight from the heart, the rest will follow through.
Finally, April is returning today. Adam is nervous as he is unsure if she is going to accept his proposal. He waited at the airport for her arrival.
