Speaking about participating on the imperial capital tour, obviously, she had her own reasons. On the other hand, Jiang An Lan could only play along while making a “zé“[1] sound. Li Ao had arranged for three cars to take in the crowds, which were fully occupied. Yao Yuan and Jiang An Lan were naturally sitting side by side with Wen Cheng in the front passenger seat.

The car had not driven far when  Wen Cheng asked: “Sister in law, I heard that you went to Canada to study after finishing your undergraduate course?”

“En.”

“It’s fun over there, right?”

“Not bad.”

“I wanted to travel there last autumn, but couldn’t because of work. Next time I’m going, will you be my guide, sister-in-law? Must be a little bit familiar. “

“In fact, I’m not familiar with Canada.” The most familiar had only been the university and the surrounding area.

“Better than me, ha ha.”

Jiang An Lan interrupting: “Can you talk about something else?”

Wen Cheng raised his hand and apologized: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Look at me. I can’t help talking when I see my sister-in-law. Boss, please speak.”

Jiang An Lan hummed, but did not say anything further. Yao Yuan was embarrassed. She felt that now he was in the open he did not bother to hide his nature anymore.

“Senior, aren’t you cold wearing so little?” First, Yao Yuan wanted to change the subject, and second, he had worn Diāo Máo yesterday, however today he was donned in a sweater. All were indoor outfits.

Jiang An Lan arched his eyebrows. “It’s tolerable.”

“I don’t think he will take part in any outdoor activities later.”

Jiang An Lan glared at Wen Cheng and kept giving the other party the eye in which made the latter smiles, “OK, I’ll shut up.”

Later, it was also proved that Young Master Jiang really certified as a “stay-in-home” fellow. If everyone was squandering outside, he would go to the nearest leisure club or coffee shop to have a drink, which naturally drag Yao Yuan together. Poor Yao Yuan, she had come out with everyone to have fun, and yet still being monopolized by someone. As for Wen Cheng, he had not slept well, hence he had zero interest to play. The man decided to take a seat with Boss and his wife, but he was driven away by the male lead’s saying: ” Be tactful.”

Wen Cheng felt wronged and was full of bitterness, found Li Ao and complained, “Your boss has become more and more annoying. You said, if your sister-in-law didn’t want him, would he become a local tyran? I think it’s very likely.”

Li Ao said jokingly, “Who makes you so blind to be a light bulb?”

“I always think that we helped him to pursue sister-in-law, which was very brave of us to take the side of such an evildoer’,” joked Wen Cheng.

Li Ao shook his head. “Sometimes the Boss is a bit fierce, but it’s really–how to put it? It’s like the song ;”I love you the most, otherwise how can I go through water and tread on fire, do whatever you say”.”

In this way, two people were making fun of Young Master Jiang. Young Master Jiang in that private space was busy serving tea for his beloved furen. “This biluochun[2] may be a little fragrant if you drink it.”

[2]. Name of the Tea

Yao Yuan took a sip and said, “OK, taste good.” Then she was back on watching the little friends on the blueish-green lake happily rowing boat full of spirit making big ripples, “Can I go out for a while?”

Jiang An Lan took a sip of tea. “Isn’t it good to accompany me?”

“Too much pressure.”

Young Jiang took a picture of the position beside him. “It’s not very often for you to come over here.”

Yao Yuan laughed out, “Senior, has anyone ever told you that your speech was too much to bear?” Maybe even without her realizing it, their interactions and way of conversing became casual and relaxed.

“No one had ever said that before.” Jiang An Lan spoke realistically, “No one dared to.”

Yao Yuan once again had to give the man a thumbs up.

After dinner that day, some people proposed to go to the bars in the capital to have fun and see the world. So a group of people went to the bars.

In the bright and brightly decorated bar, a drunk man sitting at the bar touched his brother who was shaking his head with the music: “Look, over there, that beautiful woman, awesome isn’t she?”

The man followed him and saw the woman sitting in a spacious booth. Her seating was facing them in which twinkling with the light: “She’s very classy and outstanding. How do you want to chase her?”

The bartender at the back of the bar leaned over to remind him, “Xiao Jiang’s guests.” Then he added, “Jiang Tian.”

Both men were stupefied for a moment, and then looked back. Sure enough, Jiang An Lan was sitting on the left side of the woman’s left hand. He was leaning against the back of the sofa. Before, someone was talking to him which had blocked him from their line of sight. At this moment, the man blocking their sight had walked away, there was no denying that the man was Jiang Family’s 5th Young Master. The two men looked at each other in dismay and kept silent about the topic.

Li Ao came over with a dozen beers. Seeing that everyone was just sitting around and did not go to have fun, he exclaimed, “Come here, why are you sitting there? Go to the dance floor and twist it, ah!” At the instigation of the Vice Clan Leader, in twos and threes people rose to go up the dance floor. Upon seeing the empty seat by Yao Yuan’s right side was unoccupied, Li Ao crossed over and sat down there. “Do you want to dance, sister-in-law?”

Yao Yuan speechless, “I can’t, you go and have fun, ok?”

Some members of the gang heard about it and tried to pull her enthusiastically, “Come on, sister-in-law, I’ll teach you!”

“I really can’t do it.” Yao Yuan threw a pleading look towards Jiang An Lan, but he only gave a faint smile. It seemed that she could only rely on  herself. “Who wants to play finger-guessing game with me?”

People who could not dance shouted: “Me! Me!”

In this way, Yao Yuan had a fight with others and had some drinks. There was nothing to be done. In terms of literature and art aspect, she was very weak. But when her face became hot after a few drinks, Jiang An Lan reached over to touch her ear and casually said, “Drink less.”

Yao Yuan turned around and spoke in an unclear articulation, “Senior, you can remember to take me back later …”

This became Yao Yuan’s last words that she said that day.
