Xinyung looked down. He didn't want to go into complete details, but he had to tell him the truth. "I don't think that you're human. I know I keep saying this, but I'm pretty certain that I am correct. If I am right and you're not a human, then we won't find any answers on your past here. I think that I can also find out more if we make a blood deal."

Xinyung got up and walked over to Lucyndth. When he got closer, Lucyndth noticed that he had dark circles around his eyes and his hair was messy. It looked like he didn't get much sleep last night.

" Are you sure that this blood deal might help me with my past?" Lucyndth felt uneasy about this. He just wanted to know who he was before he met Xinyung. He wanted to know if he had family before this.

"Yes. I think that this might help you."

Lucyndth thought about it for a second. What if Xinyung was trying to use him to complete his mission, and not actually help him with his past? If he is trying to help him, then that means he would have to go through with it and make a blood deal with him. "What is a blood deal anyway. I know that it means that you and I will become stronger from our souls coming together, but how exactly does it work. Will it hurt me?"

Xinyung smiled. Maybe this kid was actually willing to make the deal with him! "No, it won't hurt." Xinyung was lying at this point. It was actually going to hurt really badly. He was going to have to stab Lucyndth with a blood sword.

"Let's get to it then!" Xinyung sort of felt bad for having to stab him in the chest. That pity only lasted for a second before he felt that he was actually going to enjoy it.

"I have the preparations in the basement. Lets go." In reality there wasn't much that needed to be prepared.

"A basement?" Lucyndth didn't know that there was a basement.

Xinyung took Lucyndth's hand and pulled him out the door. As the got the stairs, Lucyndth noticed that Xinyung was holding his hand again. " What's with you trying to hold my hand lately?" Xinyung glared at Lucyndth. He immediately regretted asking that question. Last time he asked it, he got thrown down the stairs. Xinyung just noticed that he himself had a really tight grip on his hands.

He let go go, "Sorry. It's just that….you remind me of someone that I used to know."

Lucyndth let out a sigh of relief. Xinyung didn't throw him down the stair this time. Xinyung continued to walk down the stairs, Lucyndth followed. They got to the counter and stopped. Lucyndth was confused. There wasn't any sign of a door that could lead to a basement anywhere.

"Why are you stopping here? Come on! Show me where the basement is!" Lucyndth rushed Xinyung.

Xinyung looked at Lucyndth and smiled, " This is the door to the basement." With that, Xinyung put his hand up and made signals.

A book shelf that was once there started to fade in thin air. Lucyndth ran over and waved his hand where the bookshelf was supposed to be. There was nothing there but a door that appeared as soon as the bookshelf disappeared. Lucyndth turned slowly to face Xinyung. He gave a confused look and Xinyung rolled his eyes. He didn't care to explain how the bookshelf worked and pushed Lucyndth towards the door.

Lucyndth was too scared of the door and pulled Xinyung in front of him, " You open it!"

Xinyun sighed and opened the door. Once he did so, Lucyndth peeked from behind him to see what was inside. It was a staircase that lead straight down into darkness. He would never walk down such a scary staircase, even if his life depended on it! And his life actually did depend on it! Lucyndth shook his head and nudged Xinyung to start walking.

"Don't tell me you're scared." Xinyung chuckled.

By now, Lucyndth's legs were shaking. His voice trembled as he said, "No! Why would I be scared. I'm a soon to be warrior after all, right?"

Xinyung could sense the fear, so he had a plan to make it worse. When they got to the bottom of the staircase, Xinyung walked into the darkness. Lucyndth couldn't see him but he heard his voice in the darkness,

" I have to turn on the lights and prepare the stuff, okay?" Xinyung's voice was getting more distant as he called out to Lucyndth behind him.

Lucyndth sat at the bottom stair and tried to get his mind off of the creepy aura coming from the room. Five minutes had past, and he was still sitting there. Five minutes is a long time to find a light switch, Lucyndth thought. So he got up and decided to call for Xinyung.

"Hey, where'd you go? It doesn't take this long to find a light switch!" There was no answer. "Hey! Stop playing! Where are you?"

After Lucyndth finished his sentence, he felt a cold chill pass through his body. The chill pushed him back a little bit as it went through his chest. Lucyndth turned around in fear as he heard something behind him. He turned around, but he couldn't see anything in the darkness except for the little bit of light that came from the top of the stairs. He felt someone breath in his ear. Lucyndth swung around and moved his arm to try to feel if there was anyone there. There wasn't anyone standing there.

"Xinyung! What is this? Stop playing around!" There was no answer, but Lucyndth felt someone breath into his other ear.

He tried to see if there was anyone there again, but he still couldn't feel or see anything. "This is apart of the blood agreement!" Lucyndth turned around, he heard Xinyungs voice in the distance behind him.

Lucyndth smiled, "So, you breathing into my ear is apart of the blood agreement."

Lucyndth heard a chuckle, but this time it was to the right instead of behind him. This continued to happen and it made Lucyndth on guard. He didn't know what would happen next. He was very sensitive to sound, but he didn't hear any foot steps. Every once in a while, he'd feel a cold push go through his body. This is what made him wary of his surroundings.

"We can do this all night, Xinyung. I'm pretty sure you won't accomplish anything." Lucyndth turned in circles as he said this, for he didn't know where Xinyung was.

The entire process was making him dizzy. Usually, when someone is in the darkness for a long time, their eyes adjust to the darkness. For some reason, Lucyndth's eyes weren't adjusting. Lucyndth felt another breath in his ear, He spun around and caught hold of Xinyungs hoodie, " HA! I got you!"

Xinyung laughed, "Oh?"

Lucyndth's smile quickly faded as he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He let go of Xinyung and moved his hands towards his chest. His hands roamed a sharp object. It felt like a sword. Xinyung pushed the sword into his chest until it came to the hilt, "Sorry, not sorry." He quickly whispered in Lucyndth's ear. Lucyndth passed out, for the pain was too much to bear.
