Just as he thought of that little bug drowning in water, his vision suddenly swayed before going dark.

At this moment, he should be standing in the doorway of that little house, with the street, mailbox, garbage can, and other such items in the surroundings. But now, instead, a giant steel fence loomed in his sight.

That change was truly mind-boggling, and he was suddenly stumped.

With a surprise jot of his neck, he then saw that around him were moss-covered brick walls, almost as if he had been locked inside a jail cell.

However, around him were also a few massive leaves, massive stones, massive utensils, and massive boxes printed with the picture of a grinning white-bearded man—that was KFC's packaging!

Seeing this, he suddenly understood, it was not that these items were massive, but that he had suddenly become very tiny.

Lowering his head, he found that he was currently standing on a bottle cap. Coincidentally, there was also a piece of broken glass right next to him. Looking into the reflection, he was apparently able to see his unexpected appearance.

Like the grasshopper, he had a violet-black shell, a set of large compound eyes, and only two legs…

This wasn't him, but the bug that was previously in his hand!

Then, that also meant that what he's looking for wasn't his eyes, but rather that of that little bug!

"How can this be? What happened to me?" Li Du thought in a moment of panic.

Just as that thought popped up in his head, his sight swayed, and Hannah's face filled with the expressions of concern and terror once again reappeared in his view. He had returned to normal.

As if sensing his abnormal behavior, Hannah asked in a small voice, "Li, how… how are you? Do you need me to call 911?"

Li Du also felt somewhat tired, so he waved his hand before replying, "Never mind, there's no need, but thank you, Hannah, I was just thinking of some weird things, I'm feeling much better now."

Hearing his reply, Hannah made the cross across her chest. "Thank God, you should probably go get some rest."

However, right now, what Li Du truly need wasn't rest, but rather to investigate what had happened to him.

After saying goodbye to Hannah, he returned to his own room. Like before, he thought of "using the little bug's eyes," and immediately, the sight of the drainage appeared in his vision again.

And as he thought of returning to his own perspective, his vision changed again, and once again, he saw the NBA wallpaper in his room.

After two consecutive successful attempts at changing his perspective, Li Du began to understand what's happening.

This insect was initially encased in that amber crystal that he had destroyed. After it had escaped and subsequently entered his hand, he began to be able to share its vision.

In other words, he had gained another set of eyes outside of his body.

The mysterious thing was, it seemed that no one else could see this bug, only him.

After another few sets of experimenting, he found that not only could he use the bug as another set of eyes, but he could also control its body as if he had gained an insect avatar.

Following these experiments, he noticed that in the drain, there were a couple of $1 coins.

He then went and opened the drainage grates. Appearing before him was a sight just like what he saw before; there was the little bug on top of the bottle cap, the KFC box, and the dinnerware.

He then removed these trashes and found the $1 coins behind it.

Taking them into his hands, Li Du let out a small grin.

At this moment, he thought that this little bug was quite useful. Even if this were its only ability, the simple fact that it could see lost coins in the drain would allow him to continue supplying his own living fees if he ever ran out of money.

Pocketing those coins, he reached towards the little bug.

The two legs of the little bug were quite nimble; it immediately jumped onto his palm before driving itself into it, only leaving behind a violet bug-shaped tattoo.

After storing away the little bug, Li Du suddenly felt a wave of fatigue. Exerting all his remaining stamina, he slowly returned to his room before crashing into a deep sleep.

When he woke up again, what greeted him was another pair of eyes.

"F*ck!" Seeing the face of another man suddenly appearing in front of him, he shouted in surprise.

Hearing his shout, the man was also somewhat startled. This individual was a thirty or so years old Caucasian. With a pair of crystal blue eyes and sharp facial structure, he could be considered to be quite handsome.

Letting out a small shiver, that handsome guy complained, "Hey, hey, hey, Chinese boy, why is your reaction so fierce, my name's Hans, you couldn't have forgotten me already, right?"

Of course, Li Du still remembered him. This person was Hans Fox, Hannah's brother, but they had only met a few times.

Seeing Hans, he angrily replied, "Hey buddy, why are you in my room? Are you spying on me? This is a violation of my privacy!"

Americans place very high importance on personal privacy, so much that every year, American courts face countless hearings stemming from privacy violation.

Hearing his reply, Hans immediately retorted, "First, this is my room, if we are talking about personal privacy, then it is mine that is violated!"

"Subsequently, Chinese boy, I am willing to bet that you were having a nightmare. Haha, your eyelids were continuously fluttering, it was really a strange sight!"

As Li Du calmed his heart down, he quickly looked towards his right palm, where the insect tattoo could still be clearly seen.

At this moment, there was a knock on the door before Hannah entered asking, "I heard a shout, is there a problem here?"

"My lovely sister, of course, there is a problem, honoring the memory of our deceased parents, can you leave me with some respect? Can you please not carelessly give my room to others?" Hans replied.

Hannah ignored her brother's complaint and asked Li Du in a voice full of concern, "Li, how are you now? Dammit, you have been sleeping for close to fifteen hours, is something wrong?"

Li Du was somewhat stumped; he had already been sleeping for that long?

Seeing that he was ignored, Hans complained again, "Come on, can you please give me some respect? I'm making a request!"

"I heard it, I'm not deaf, but what good is your request? I have no idea when you will return, and every time you do, you only come back for some pizza and beer. I'm sorry, brother, if it weren't for Li renting your room, then I wouldn't even have money for that pizza and beer," Hannah replied.

"Also, how can you still call this a bedroom with a straight face? If it weren't for Li cleaning it up, then I would have thought that our house was a dump!" Hannah was a white girl with a very sharp tongue, to her verbal attack, Hans could only roll his eyes.

"Lastly, tell me, how long will you remain here for?"

Hearing that sentence, Hans felt somewhat frustrated. "I'll probably be here for a long time. My business, en, my business is currently facing a small problem…"

"What about the apartment that you shared with Dianna?"

Hans hesitated before asking, "Who? Who's Dianna?"

Seeing Hannah's eyes that flashed with fiery anger, Hans immediately surrendered. "Okay, okay, I just remembered, Dianna is that Irish girl with long legs. Only, we've long since broken up, and the rent has also come to term."

"Do you not even have enough money for the rent?"

Hans let out a bitter smile. "I've already said, there was a bit of trouble. Dammit, I was swindled by that son of a b*tch and lost all my money. Now I can only rely on my sweet sister."

"Your lovely sister will always love her brother, but could only accommodate him in the living room."

"NO!"
