Qi Chenglin broke into laughter after hearing her response. His neck felt itchy afterward, and it was due to Ruan Danchen snickering while burying her face in his neck.
“Why did your personality change to one of a child after drinking wine?” Qi Chenglin said while feeling helpless.
“Well, I’m seven years younger than you.” Ruan Danchen giggled.
“…” Qi Chenglin’s lips twitched, feeling that she was mocking at his old age.
“Older age will lead to a better growth; even Lil Qi is more mature than the rest,” Qi Chenglin boasted.
Ruan Danchen understood him immediately and sheepishly mumbled, “Such a thick-skinned b*stard.”
A wide grin appeared on Qi Chenglin’s face. “This is the truth, try it if you don’t believe me.”
He then leaned forward and covered her mouth with his before she had the chance to say anything that could potentially irritate him.

This time, Ruan Danchen chose to ignore him through gritted teeth; she instead buried her face into Qi Chenglin’s shoulder and remained silent.
“I’ll consider your silence as an agreement,” Qi Chenglin answered his own question when he noticed that Ruan Danchen was not planning on responding.
“…” Ruan Danchen kept quiet.

Qi Chenglin gave Ruan Danchen’s waist a gentle rub before shifting his head to her thighs with his eyes closed. Then, he buried his face into her lower abdomen and started rubbing and kissing it before he drawled, “Be a good girl and sleep a while more. Don’t bother about him.”
