"If you look closely, there's a small lever that you can pull. Do you see it?"

"Try pulling it."
Dohyuk pulled without hesitation. With a loud blare, he felt a stinging pain coming from the thumb that he used to pull the lever.
"Now it's bound to you, and only you can use it."
He looked down at his thumb where there was now a small puncture. There was a drop of blood at the end of the lever too.
"If you pull the lever, the arrow will point towards the closest relic from your current location. Oh, but don't pull it right now. Be careful."
Emmanoel warned, "If you activate the scope, it won't stop until you find the relic. And when you activate it, the scope has to be in the hand you held it with."
"If I don't do that?"
"It will be destroyed, with or without you finding the relic."

"Whether you pull the lever or not, always carry it around with you. If that thing is placed more than ten steps away from you, it will get destroyed also."
Dohyuk examined the ball.
"Keep it well. That's the only one I have. You can now find relics from all around the world."
"And kill Casita?"
"It would be nice if it were that easy."
