Da Tian Ting got out of the taxi, and limped to her apartment. Each step put pressure on her injured knees.
Feng Kai Ze followed behind Da Tian Ting. He hated seeing her limp and in pain. He wanted to help her, but didn’t know what to say for her to let him help her.
Feng Kai Ze wished he left a good first impression on Da Tian Ting. He considered telling her that he was her little monkey. But he wasn’t certain she would forgive him.
‘Fierce apple!’ Feng Kai Ze called.
Da Tian Ting put her key in her apartment door lock. She heard someone called her nickname from her childhood. She turned around and looked suspiciously at the grudge holding man.
‘What did you call me?’ Da Tian Ting asked.
‘You’re fierce and have an apple face,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘My nickname for you is fierce apple.’
‘Mr crazy, I’m warning you, you’re not allowed to call me fierce apple!’ Da Tian Ting said.
Da Tian Ting lost her temper, and made Feng Kai Ze uneasy.
‘Why?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
‘Because I hate that nickname,’ Da Tian Ting said.
‘Do you hate being called fierce apple or do you hate the person who nicknamed you fierce apple?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
‘I hate both… wait,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Mr Crazy why did you follow me home?’
Da Tian Ting was suspicious why Mr Crazy didn’t want to accept five hundred dollars from her, and followed her home at night.
Da Tian Ting’s arms protected her chest, and Mr Crazy laughed.
‘Why are you laughing?’ Da Tian Ting asked.
‘How long has it been since you looked in the mirror?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
Feng Kai Ze wasn’t mocking Da Tian Ting. He was laughing because she thought he was after her body when he wanted something else from her.
‘I look at myself in the mirror every day,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Why?’
Feng Kai Ze thought Da Tian Ting’s old baggy clothes didn’t suit her figure or her age.
‘When you look in the mirror, don’t you feel unfeminine?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
Da Tian Ting understood Mr Crazy’s words. She unlocked the front door, walked into her apartment and looked directly at his eyes.
‘Mr Crazy, if you think I look unfeminine then stay away from me,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘I don’t want to contaminate your eyes.’
Da Tian Ting closed and locked the front door.
