Shang Duan Hua and Da Ming Sheng arrived at the bridge. An ambulance passed by them, but they didn’t know who was inside the ambulance.
Shang Duan Hua found a bag on the bridge.
‘Ming Sheng, isn’t this Tian Ting’s bag?’ Shang Duan Hua asked.
‘Yes,’ Da Min Sheng said. ‘It’s big sister’s bag. But where is big sister?’
Shang Duan Hua looked around the bridge. There were only unopened bottles of wine. He couldn’t see Da Tian Ting anywhere, and worried something happened to her. He knew she wasn’t someone who was careless, and she wouldn’t throw her bag on a bridge.
Shang Duan Hua stopped a man passing by.
‘Sir, did you see anything happen here?’ Shang Duan Hua asked.
‘Yes,’ the man said. ‘A woman jumped off this bridge. Someone saved the woman, and the paramedics took her to the hospital.’
‘Do you know what the woman looked like?’ Shang Duan Hua asked.
Shang Duan Hua wanted to know if Da Tian Ting was the person inside the ambulance he saw before.
‘I didn’t see her body clearly,’ the man said. ‘But her face looked young like in her late twenties.’
The man didn’t want to answer Shang Duan Hua’s questions anymore, and walked to his car.
Shang Duan Hua regretted causing Da Tian Ting pain. Why did he lie to her for ten years? He was the reason why she jumped off the bridge.
‘Ming Sheng, I want to go to the hospital and see if Tian Ting is OK,’ Shang Duan Hua said.
Da Ming Sheng held onto Shang Duan Hua arm.
‘Duan Hua!’ Da Ming Sheng called. ‘If you go to the hospital now, you’ll give big sister hope. Do you want to marry big sister?’

Shang Duan Hua didn’t want to marry a country bumpkin like Da Tian Ting. He didn’t know what he should do.
‘Duan Hua, don’t let big sister blackmail you into marrying her,’ Da Ming Sheng said. ‘If you go to the hospital to see big sister, you’ll fall into her trap.’
Shang Duan Hua heard blackmail, and made up his mind not to go the hospital.
‘Big sister is at the hospital now,’ Da Ming Sheng said. ‘Big sister will be OK. We can visit big sister tomorrow, and return her bag.’
Da Ming Sheng didn’t expect Da Tian Ting would jump off the bridge to hold onto Shang Duan Hua. Da Ming Sheng thought of another scheme to destroy Da Tian Ting’s hope.
