Feng Kai Ze was a clean freak. He could overlook a loud drunk. But he couldn’t overlook the loud drunk at his feet, and the wine stain on his pants.
Da Tian Ting opened her eyes. She saw a man’s pants. In her drunk state she thought the pants belonged to Shang Duan Hua. She gripped the man’s pants, pulled herself up and grabbed the man’s shirt.
‘Shang Duan Hua, do you think it’s amusing to lie to me for ten years?’ Da Tian Ting asked.
Feng Kai Ze hated strangers touching him too. He didn’t hesitate to pull the drunk woman’s hands off his shirt.
Da Tian Ting stumbled back. She didn’t want to let the man she thought was Shang Duan Hua off the hook. She grabbed the man’s shirt again.
‘Why was I so gullible?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘Why did I believe you? Why did I do everything for you? Why did you lie to me? You’re not a man!’
Feng Kai Ze knew it was pointless talking to a drunk.
‘Waiter,’ Feng Kai Ze called.
‘Yes sir,’ the waiter said.
‘This woman is your customer,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘You know what to do with rowdy customers.’
‘Yes sir,’ the waiter said.
The waiter held Da Tian Ting’s arm. She elbowed the waiter, and grabbed onto Feng Kai Ze’s shirt again.
‘Duan Hua, tell me what I saw today was an illusion,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Tell me that you love me.’
‘Let go of me,’ Feng Kai Ze said.
‘No,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘I held your hand for ten years. How can you ask me to let go of you now?’
‘Crazy woman,’ Feng Kai Ze called. ‘You’ve got the wrong person. Let go of me.’
Feng Kai Ze thought it was an unlucky day. The first day back in his mother’s hometown, he met a crazy drunk.
‘Duan Hua, I’m begging you not to leave me,’ Da Tian Ting said.
‘Sir, if this is your girlfriend then you should help settle her bill,’ the waiter said.
‘Who said she’s my girlfriend?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
The waiter was scared of Feng Kai Ze’s fierce aura.
Da Tian Ting hugged Feng Kai Ze.
‘Duan Hua, don’t turn your back on me,’ Da Tian Ting said.
Da Tian Ting was overwhelmed by nausea. She opened her mouth, and vomited wine on Feng Kai Ze’s clothes.
Feng Kai Ze instinctively pushed Da Tian Ting off him. She fell on the floor and accidently hit her head on a table.
