Da Tian Ting got out of bed, she picked up her bag, took two steps and her stomach hurt. She hunched over, held her stomach and endured the pain.
‘Sit and eat breakfast,’ Feng Kai Ze said.
‘Why do I need to eat if you tell me to eat?’ Da Tian Ting asked.
Da Tian Ting didn’t want to accept Feng Kai Ze’s breakfast.
‘Why are you making your stomach suffer?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
‘It’s my stomach and I can make it suffer if I want to,’ Da Tian Ting said.
‘I told you, your business is my business,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘You need to eat.’

‘Because you suffer from a periodic stomach ulcer,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘After you eat breakfast, I’ll take you home.’

‘Because the doctor that gave you a check-up informed me about your medical history,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘If you don’t eat, I’ll…’

Da Tian Ting got the impression Feng Kai Ze wasn’t totally heartless. At least he wouldn’t do anything to directly harm her, and there were a couple of occasions he was nice to her.
Da Tian Ting didn’t want to eat Feng Kai Ze’s breakfast, because she understood there was no such thing as a free lunch in the world. If Shang Duan Hua lied to her for ten years, it meant a stranger like Feng Kai Ze was likely to have an ulterior motive to be nice to her.
