Leo listened to her story intently. "That is very touching and I am sorry for your loss. The first thing they asked him was where his bride was and he said that you ran away after you married. "If that is alright can I draw a symbol on a piece of paper and you take that to him and tell him I am still waiting for him." Scarlet finally stopped crying and sat back down.
Kitty pushed her sketchbook towards Scarlet, "you can use any of the papers in this book. I can always buy another one."
Scarlet picked up the book and flipped through the drawing and stopped at the one of Leo. "Your talent is amazing as always. Thank you, Kitsune." She then turned to a blank page, drew two hearts that were interlocked and added a rose at the bottom of the hearts and then showed it to Kitty and Leo. "This is important to the two of us and only we will understand the meaning of the drawing. Thank you, Leo."
Leo took the sketchbook and gently tore the page out and folded it up and placed it on the table. "I go back to work in a few days. When I go back to work, I will take this with me and I will have Kitty keep it safe and remind me to bring it with me." Before putting the book down he flipped through the sketches and saw the one of Carlos and Luke in the kitchen. "I doubt this is how they looked but it seems so realistic." He turns and sees how Kitty thinks he will look. "Have you dreamed about this or this your imagination?" While saying this he shows her the picture.
"I have not had a dream since the first time you saw. This is what I think you will look with the ears and tail. Very handsome my dear." Kitty looks at Scarlet who is watching the couple as she smiles and it looked like a weight was lifted from her shoulders.
Scarlet met her gaze and smiled back then wiped the remaining tears away. "Thank you. I trust Kitty so I will trust you as well Leo. If you need my services I will help you when I can."
"No worries, when you are part of my girl's family you are a part of my family. I will, of course, treat you as such. Today was going to be a chill at home kind of day do you have time to stay longer?" Leo put the sketchbook down and looks at the two girls.
"As much as I would like to stay I do have to work later today. Also, congratulations on your engagement! I look forward to getting to know you better Leo and I look forward to being able to spend more time with you Kitsune!" She got up and walked to the front door.
