"I remember what was going to happen that day. It haunts me. I think I've told you bits and pieces but never what happened. Sandra had called me up and said that she wanted to meet up and that was normal form us to meet up when she had time. I was excited as she had been so busy with work lately. So I got ready and went to our meeting place for this time. It was at a lake near where I was living at the time. Sandra came out with Robert and her expression was a little weird but I gave her a hug and that was when she whispered in my ear. 'I'm sorry Kitty. You have to run and not worry about us. There is a hunter that is trying to kill us and wanted to get you as well. We managed to throw him off our tail and I do not want you to die in vain. Run and protect that letter that we gave you until you meet our son later on. I just know that you two will be a match in heaven.' It was then that Sandra pushed me in the direction away from the way they came. I started running while I was bawling. I could smell that chemical in the air I am sure if I had stayed I would've killed your parents and that would've eaten away at my conscience. I ran until I was miles away. I ran for an hour and I didn't allow myself to look back. Once I knew I was safe I sat down on the ground and I bawled until no more tears would come out." Kitty looked up at Leo and then leaned her head on his shoulder.
"It was hard on you I know that I have said this before but my mother really adored you. I heard her gush about you all the time. She would go on about your beauty and that you were a catch that I would never find in this lifetime again but she never once said your name or even hinted on what you might look like. Did she ever mention what the meeting would be about?" Leo patted her leg as she leaned onto his shoulder.
"The meeting was to set up an appointment to meet you. I was going to be set up on a blind date with you. It is the same on my end, Sandra would gush about how handsome you were and how you were getting taller. She convinced me that I should go on a blind date. I had cleared my schedule for the week and was going to set up a meeting with you and your parents. When I saw how freaked out Sandra and Robert were I knew that something wasn't right. When I cried my eyes out I watched as their lives were taken. I did not see who did it but it had to be someone who had access to the chemical. I think that the individual was trying to make it so that I would be the one to kill them so that they could justify killing me as well." Kitty shook her head and sat up straight. "Either way we were fated to be together and I am glad that we are together once more. I am sure that Sandra would be crying and be fretting over the baby, while Robert would be telling her to calm down."
"That does sound like something my mother would do. She would be giving you a lecture on the fact that you need to rest more and not to worry about the housework, money, and anything of the sort. Also, that I would provide you with everything that you could ever need and or want. I would just sigh and walk away waiting for the day to come so that my mother would calm down. I could see you saying Sandra I am not a delicate flower do not treat me as such as you go and start painting or sketching. I could see myself chuckling in the corner. I know I would side with you right away and she would back off. There is so much that could've happened but I do believe that everything happens for a reason and I know that you feel the same way." Leo comforted her and looked down at the reports and saw the original report and the fake report. "Maybe, I shouldn't have shown this to you right now but I think that you need to see this. I do not want you to find out about what I found later on and that I kept it from you." Leo pats Kitty's back and watches as she cries out the tears that need to be shed. It breaks his heart a little and so he tilts her head up, kisses the corner of her eyes and kisses away her tears. 'This is the only thing I can think of doing.'
Kitty slowly stops crying as Leo kisses away her tears. "Th-thank you, Darling. I will be alright but I am glad that you chose to share this with me now. I know that it is not the best time but at the same time there is no time like the present and I would've been upset with you if I found out later that you found this but didn't share this information right away. So while I am grateful you thought about me I am glad that you still, in the end, showed me." Kitty looked at Leo with her tear-streaked cheeks and smiled.
"It is my pleasure, my love. I will only do this for you and you know that I want you to know all that is going on. I haven't seen what's in the files past my parents as I didn't want to see what other deeds he has dealt with. It is tragic that they passed away but at least now I have concrete proof so now I convict him and make him pay." Leo moved the next few files off the top and the last file was about Kitty's mother and father.
Kitty stared at the file and started to read what was said. ~Today I followed the Maslin's and found out that they were meeting up with some suspicious people and this is not the first time I have seen them together I think that these people may not be human and I suspect that the Maslin's know about it. I will follow them around and see what is going on.
Today I followed the couple away I heard them mention something about a peace treaty. I am suspecting even more so now that they are not human. I will use them as my first test subjects. When they go to meet the Maslin's next time and I am free.
Today the day finally came. As the Maslin's left the forest I followed the couple and their daughter to a crowded area and I slowly started to release the gas. The woman sensed something and sent her daughter running away. I was not worried about a child but I want to see what effects the gas will have on the adults. So I let the child flee as I watched the gas forced their transformations to come to light. I did not notice that the woman and man had slipped a pill into their mouth and that they bit the pill. All I saw was the two of them die in front of me. Quickly I turned the gas off and I rushed to see what had happened after I saw the capsule I realized that they killed themselves.
I took after the girl that I let run free but no matter how fast I ran I never caught up with the girl and I have yet to find a trace of her again. My luck is shitty. I guess I will not be able to report this in the fake report but this is a good way for me to keep track of what happened.
Kitty's hands start shaking and she looks up at Leo. "He can not be allowed to live. This is too much honestly I knew my parents took their lives. I felt them pass, the reason he could not find me is because I called Sylvie to come to my aide when I got away. I was taken to her house. That is the only reason I am alive today.
