"That is understandable kid. You still have a lot of life left to live and there is no one that can take that away from you. Do not throw your life away for something stupid. I do hope that there is no need for you to join a war, as with war comes death and loneliness. I have seen so much bloodshed and it is not something that I wish for anyone else to witness. I will be in the living room now if you need it." Ketan got up and left for the living room.
Leo got up to the bedroom and tried to quietly open the door. He went into the room, got ready for bed and climbed under the covers.
Kitty stirred from the movement and turned to face Leo. "Darling, Are you just now heading to bed?"
"Yes, my sweet," Leo pulls her into his embrace, "I was just chatting with everyone about the next steps and making sure that everyone was on the same page. Let's get some sleep and we'll talk more in the morning."
Kitty relaxed in his embrace and fell back asleep.
'You are so precious to me. I will do whatever I can to keep you safe and sound. I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. I will love you to the moon and back. You are my reason for living. No matter what I will keep you within my reach so that I can protect you from anyone that may come after you.' Leo kisses the top of Kitty's head and then stares at her sleeping face before falling asleep.
Kitty awoke the next morning and felt Leo's arm around her so she snuggled in closer to his warmth. She felt him stir from her movements. "Good morning, Darling. I did not mean to wake you up."
Leo squeezed her a little harder, "you do not need to worry about waking me up, love. I am blessed that I will be able to wake up with you in my arms for the rest of our lives. There is nothing more satisfying than having you here in my arms. I am truly blessed and happy. So do not worry about waking me up I am happy to be woken up by you." Leo released her from his hold and leaned down and gave her a kiss.
Kitty goes beet red from his confession, "I-I, how can you say such an embarrassing thing after waking up? I do feel the same way. I can not wait for you to be able to come home all the time but you have an important job to do and I will be able to work alongside you which is a blessing that I could ask for. I will spend all my living days loving you and even when we pass I will still love only you." Kitty returns the kiss.
"Let's go have a shower and freshen up. I have a lot of work to do today. I want to get as much as I can done before coming home. I need to find that chemical." Leo gently moved his arm out from under Kitty and sat up on the bed and yawned. "Is it true that you can use telepathy with Ketan?"
"I can use telepathy with anyone it doesn't mean that they can respond to me. I can, however, chat with those I am linked to. So if something were to happen I could send you a message as you are mine and I am yours. Both Sylvie and Ketan can talk to me and I can respond back not because they have had my blood though. I have that power and it was half locked but I think it is fully unlocked now." Kitty switches to telepathy. ~Just like you can think a thought I do believe I would be able to pick up on it. I want to spend all my time with you and I appreciate everything that you do, Darling.~ She gets up off the bed and goes to the bathroom and starts to run the water for a shower.
"I understand why that works a little better now. I will be giving Ketan a little of my blood so that he will be able to keep in touch and he will be able to let me know if something bad happens or if I need his help to get to you faster. I do not want you to feel alone and that I do not care because that is not true. I care more than you could ever imagine." Leo walked into the bathroom and started to take off his clothes. "Let's shower together."
Kitty's face was still red and the color deepened as she watched Leo take off his clothes. "You are not being fair, Darling. I can not say no to you." She slowly undressed and stepped into the warm water. She let the water run through her hair and down her body and the baby started to kick as the water hit her belly.
"The baby is very active in the water. I think that is a good thing. Our baby is a blessing for both of us. I love both of you unconditionally. All I want is for both of you to be healthy." Leo go into the shower and placed his hand on the baby that was kicking. "Be safe, my little one."
Kitty smiled and then picked up her shampoo. "I wondered why you had a separate shower stall form the tub but this is much safer to shower in and it's big enough for the both of us to stand in. I am grateful that I get the opportunity to use such a grand shower."
"John is an efficient worker. Anytime I make a request he takes it very seriously and gets it done as fast as he can." Leo took the shampoo from Kitty and then lathered it in his hands and added it to her hair.
"Speaking of jobs I heard that you have a shed for dried herbs and flowers. I was thinking that we should change how it looks or maybe even rebuild it so that we can make sure that is will have enough room for everything." Kitty was facing away from Leo as he slowly worked in the shampoo into her hair.
"If that is what you would like you can talk to John today while he is here and you can tell him I already approved but you are the lady of the household so you do not need to worry about anybody denying you what you would like. Go ahead and change whatever you what I will not argue with you on your choices." Leo picked the showerhead off the wall and slowly rinsed away the shampoo he had put into her hair. Being careful not to get any in her eyes.
