Emerson steps next to Sylvie and hugs her. "Your thirst is about to go out of control drink then continue." He gently pats her back and exposes his neck to her.
Sylvie's fangs slowly extend and she bites into Emerson's neck and drinks his blood deeply. She stops thinking and takes his blood. Sylvie stops drinking his blood and notices Emerson is breathing heavily.
Emerson moves away and sits on the corner of the bed. "Finish before you lose the power you gained from my blood. I will be fine."
Sylvie nods her head and then quickly finishes the runes and writing. Then she sees the seals that were placed on Kitty she touches the one that was trying to break and traces it with her blood.
Kitty watches the seal and feels immense pain from the process. She doesn't let her cries come out and holds them in. 'I deserve this as I was not supposed to even break the seals and yet I broke three and almost a fourth one.' Finally, the pain subsides and the seal was reinforced. ~You managed to rein it in. I will be able to keep it this way until I feed on Ketan but it will need to be done within the next two weeks~
Emerson heard Kitty for the first time and looked at her in shock. "I did not know that you could communicate like that."
Sylvie looked at Emerson sharply, "your body fueled me so when I reinforced the seal it transferred your blood into the mixture. Kitty is able to talk with anyone she chooses but I think in this case she had no control."
Kitty opened her eyes. ~It is true I was sending that to Sylvie but you both heard it but it is not like that is an issue. I am worried about your brother will lose control. I do not think he is ready for this task Sylvie. I already almost killed you both today I…~
"DO NOT FINISH THAT THOUGHT! I will not allow you to finish that thought at all. I will help you if he can not. I know that it could kill me but I would rather it be me than you. You are the future of this world. You have to survive." Sylvie leans over Kitty and starts crying.
Kitty weakly raises her hand and pats Sylvie on the head. ~Thank you. You both need rest to recover from this. Come lay down, Sylvie and we shall rest for the time being.~
Sylvie got up and laid on the empty side of the bed and then patted next to her. "Emerson, you need to sleep as well. There is nothing that will happen now. I am going to rest and you are mine so come lay by my side."
Emerson got up and laid down next to Sylvie and hugged her close until he fell asleep.
Kitty looked at Emerson and Sylvie, once she noticed that the two were asleep. She got out of the bed and opened the door quietly.
Luke stood up and saw that Kitty had blood on her arms, "Are you really ok, Mother?" Luke went to touch Kitty.
"Luke, do not touch me right now. I do not want to accidentally hurt you. I am in control but it may not last. Can you go get Cindy?" Kitty stepped past Luke and walked to Cindy's room. "Tell her I am in her room, please."
Luke retracted his hand and watched as Kitty went to Cindy's room before he went downstairs a little dejected but he knew that it was for his own good. He went to the kitchen and saw that Cindy was preparing to make a pasta salad. "Cindy, Kitty wants you to meet her in your room I can make the salad for you."
Cindy looks up and notices that Luke was a little sad. "If Kitty is calling me she must have snuck away from Sylvie and Emerson. I will be back. Please, take care of the salad and remember that she is not rejecting you. I will not be allowed to touch her either."
Luke looked up at her sharply, "How did you know?"
"I can smell the blood in the air. It is rare to smell this much blood but for her this is normal. I have never been allowed to watch what happens but I was good friends with Linda so I know a bit about what happened." Cindy placed the items she was working with down and left the kitchen. She went up to the bedroom and opened the door. "Kitty, you need to shower and rest."
Kitty looked at Cindy and her eyes were a pure silver color. "I don't think it was enough, I need more but I locked that desire away from Sylvie. I can not allow her to give me any more or else I will kill her."
"As you wish." Cindy bowed and locked the door. "There is a target with enough life energy that was tracked down and he is deciding how to make a move on a human so you should be able to drain him without any consequences." Cindy thought of the place that the vampire was at and Kitty goes the location. She ported over to the target and watched as he was starting to torture a girl. Kitty walked up behind him and cut into his neck. The vampire tried to jump away but was frozen to the ground. She placed her lips on the nape of his neck and drank all the essence in his body. The vampire turned to dust and Kitty reached over and said, "sleep." The girl that was panicking fell asleep. Kitty heard the footsteps and disappeared from the building and went back to Cindy's room.
"Welcome back. How are you feeling now?" Cindy watched and saw Kitty's eyes return back to the duel swirled color.
Kitty sat down on the bed and closed her eyes. ~Tired. I will sleep in your room so if the other two wake up, please let them know where I am hiding and do not let them know that I have left and that I took the essence from elsewhere they are not to know that I have killed someone....again.~
"As you wish. I will lock the door on my way out and you shall rest in peace. I will come to wake you up in a little while." Cindy bowed, left the room and locked the door as she left. Then she went back to the kitchen and acted like nothing had happened.
