Kitty looked at Tiana and started walking to the dining room. 'I wonder if I should get someone to buy some new clothes for Tiana? She is too big for anything that I have in stock so I will have to buy something for her to wear. I wonder if I could ask someone?' They reach the table and Kitty puts Tiana on her lap and holds the little girl while thinking.
Luke goes into the kitchen and picks up the hot fresh macaroni and cheese. "Cindy there is a new guest in the dining room! She is so adorable. I hope that my little sister will be as adorable as her."
Ketan looked around the table, "I have to return but do try to not leave the house anymore Kitty. I do not want to be hunting you down and Sister you should go and rest some more. I am sure with the child Kitty will have her hands full."
"Be safe and protect them from unforeseen consequences." Kitty place some fruit on the plate from the table and picks up her cup and drinks the juice in it.
"I will rest when it is safe to do so. I will complete my tasks whether or not I am tired. I am not a weak human so I do not need to worry as much as others might have. I will rest when Kitty goes down for a nap." Sylvie sat on the other side of the table and then looked at the girl in Kitty's arms. 'A young human is something I was not expecting Kitty to bring home with her but if that is the case I will guard the girl.' ~I know that you are afraid of scaring the girl. You are used to feeding a turned vampire. Did you ever think of what could become of your actions? I think that you did not have a choice in the matter or that you really wanted to protect something. Make sure you keep that jar safe.~
Stella followed them to the dining room but kept to the shadows as to not frighten the girl. She looked at Sylvie when she heard her voice. ~I am honored that you are talking to me this way. I have formed a bond with your brother. I am loyal to him and you too of course. That jar is all that remains of my dear sister and her spouse. I am sad that they have passed and if I had known that the child was dead I would've never turned as many as I have. I made a vow long ago that I would never harm someone that didn't want it but desperate times call for desperate measures. I promise that I will not fall for that again.~
Kitty listened in to the conversation and then interjected, ~I think she would make a lovely addition to your family. If she finds herself a partner or chooses to struggle and drink animal blood then you should have no issue with her staying with you.~
Tiana picked up the big fork and tried to eat the strawberry but couldn't fit the fork in her mouth so she picked it up with her little fingers. "The strawberry is yummy!" She put the fork back down and ate the rest with her fingers.
Cindy followed Luke into the dining room and brought out the chicken parmesan. "Oh my goodness. She is so precious." Cindy placed the food down and went back to the kitchen and grabbed a small bowl, teaspoon, and dessert fork.
Ketan bowed and left. He appeared next to Leo, "everyone has made it there safely. Tiana will fit in just fine and Luke is smitten by the girl. I think he will make a good brother."
Leo nodded his head and smiled, "I am glad that you agreed to take them back. Luke needed some interaction and that girl needs a friend, so they will be good friends in the end. While you were gone we finished packing up that room and I have separated the documents so that we can get them to the right locations. So the ones that are in this room are going to be brought back to my place so I will ask that you take them back there and place them in the gym. Luke will be the only one to use that room but with Tiana running around I am sure that he will have his hands full. The rest of the boxed files will be taken to the office. So far we have not found anything that could lead up to the creation of the chemical but the lead from Stella was good. We know that he needs the deranged vampires to create that shit."
"Your word is law, Boss. I will happily move these back to the house. I will do that now so that if we get more than I will not need to attempt to move them all at once. I would rather move them as we get them then try all at once." Ketan walked up to the boxes and lifted the four of them and envisioned the gym back at the house. He placed the boxes in the corner and popped himself back.
Carlos came out of the hallway back to them, "welcome back Ketan. Leo, I got all those books boxed up and they were moved to the living room. What do we need to do now?"
"Perfect. There is a lot more to do but the upstairs is complete as far as the blueprints go. Ketan I want you to double-check and see if there is a hidden room in the study and if there is please investigate what is behind that door. Carlos and I will be downstairs making sure that everything that needs to be packed up gets packed away. The main floor has a hidden weapons room so we will need to pack all that up and I will allow you to take something from there Carlos if you think that you will need it." Leo stepped out of the room and pointed to the study.
