"Do you know who I am. I can squash you like the bug that you are." The man in charge of the group raised his voice.
Kitty stood up and peeked out of the room and walked to Tobias. "Can I get another pot of tea, Tobias?" She turns to the group and scoffs at them, "I do not know who you think you are but if you want a certain room you should book it in advance otherwise there is a chance that the table will not be available when you arrive."
"You bitch! You have no right to say anything like that to me." The man raised his hand to smack her.
Luke stepped up behind the man, "Ronald, are you causing a scene? Did Leo not tell you to behave? I would not hit Leo's fiance if I were you." He grabbed the raised hand and snapped Ronald's wrist, "that is for calling my Mother a bitch."
Ronald froze and looked Kitty up and down and realized his mistake. "I am terribly sorry. Please do not take it to heart what I said. I will make sure that I book the room in advance next time. We will sit in the dining area. Again, I am so very sorry." Ronald bowed and slinked away to the table.
Tobias looked at Kitty, "you did not have to step in. This is something that I could've dealt with." Although he was grateful and started making more tea for Kitty.
Luke glared at the group and leads Kitty back into the room. "Mother you need to be careful, not everyone knows that you are Leo's fiance yet and there are some people in this town that Leo has control over. Ronald is in charge of a gang in another town and sometimes comes here to try and cause trouble but Leo put an end to that happening. If I am in town I usually take care of them. I get a call every once in a while to take care of it so I will run here from home. As you know I can get into town in thirty minutes by running. So it is faster for me to run. Although I am hoping I can convince Leo to buy me a motorcycle this year. I think it would be more fun to show up on a motorcycle."
"I see. I will leave them for you to deal with next time. Thank you for protecting me, Luke. I will see if I can help convince Leo to get you one. Or if not, I will see if I can buy you one. I think if you help with your sister and the baby when it is born then you will definitely deserve the bike." Kitty sat back down and drank the rest of the tea in the teapot.
Tiana hugged Kitty as soon as she came back into the room and looked for a mark and sighed dramatically. "Tiana was worried Mommy and Baby would get hurt." Once she saw that Kitty was okay she rushed to Luke and clung to his leg, Big Brother you were so cool."
Cindy sighed and looked at Kitty before going back to eating her burger. "Just be more careful."
"I will not do anything that will hurt the baby Tiana. I really did need more tea. Come sit back in your spot and eat more of your food." Kitty patted Tiana's spot.
Luke picked up Tiana, "I will protect Mother and the baby. You do not need to worry about that. I will make sure that no harm will come to them." He gently hugged Tiana and set her back into her seat. "Mother, next time let me deal with them, okay?"
"No, it is not okay. I will help out. They found out who I am. Do you think that Leo will let them off after he finds out what he said? I think not. I will, however, call for you if something happens. I can not see them starting anything if I am around anyways." Kitty sighed and got up. "Tiana, come with me."
Tiana was sitting in her seat looking antsy. "Yes, Mommy. Tiana will follow Mommy." She got up and rushed towards Kitty.
Kitty took Tiana's hand and took her to the bathroom. "Tiana when you need to go to the bathroom just let us know but at home, you do not need to ask, just go. We will not get mad at you because you needed to go."
Tiana sat on the toilet and was humming happily. "Okay, Mommy. Tiana will do as you have asked. Tiana was not allowed this much freedom in the past so Tiana was not sure if she should ask."
"No worries, Tiana. I would prefer your new clothes to not get dirty. I think that you love your new outfit very much. So I would hate for them to become ruined." Kitty went and washed her hands and waited for Tiana to finish.
"Tiana is really lucky. Mommy and Big Brother are so nice to Tiana. Even Auntie and the scary lady are nice to Tiana. Tiana would like to stay with Mommy. She does not want to go to another family." She opened the door and peeked at Kitty and then came up to wash her hands.
"If you want to stay I will not force you away. Leo will like you as well. Just remember that just because the baby will be born, we will not forget about you. If you want you can draw a picture for the baby and gift it to the baby once she is born but do not get sad if the baby doesn't understand what the drawing is." Kitty moved a stool in front of the sink and watched as Tiana washed up.
"Tiana understands. The baby will be so small and adorable. Tiana is excited to meet Mommy and Daddy's baby. Tiana wants to read stories to the baby but first Tiana needs to learn how to read. Big Brother will teach Tiana so she will try to learn fast." Tiana finished washing her hands and looks up at Kitty.
