Leo helped Kitty to the bedroom and helped her take off her dress. \"I am surprised that you are encouraging them. Is it a hard choice for a vampire to make a baby?\"
\"It is and it isn't. For them, there is the knowledge that they do not know exactly how much time they will have left in this world. It is nice that the two of them have been together for such a long time now. I do agree that they should leave a family member behind. It might be harder on her now that she is weakening but with Emerson as strong as he is… He should be able to protect the two of them.\" Kitty sat on the bed as Leo slid the dress off her legs.
\"Is it the bloodlust that might be an issue? I have read that when a vampire is pregnant that the bloodlust can be harder on their chosen partner.\" Leo lifted her legs on the bed and helped her lay back.
\"Yes, the bloodlust will be hard. I am not sure how bad it will get but Emerson's body can handle it. He is not weak like she is right now.\" Kitty laid back tenderly with the help of Leo. \"Sorry for worrying you. As much as Ketan pisses me off he knows that I was using magic but didn't say anything right away. I didn't want you to freak out.\"
Leo laid down next to her and covered her lips with his pointer finger. \"Do not worry about that. It has already happened and is no longer worth thinking about. I completed all the work that I had to do. So I will go to the office tomorrow and finish up as fast as I can. I will have to take Ketan with me but there are enough individuals here to make sure that you do not go overboard but right now you need sleep, my dear sweet girl.\" Leo patted her cheek before leaning over and kissing her on the lips.
Kitty kissed him back and her eyes started to droop. \"I will…\" she yawns, \"go to sleep now. Goodnight, Darling.\" She took one last look into his eyes as she passed out.
Leo looked at her and waited for her to be in a deep sleep before getting up and turning on his laptop. He opened his email and started typing a message to someone. Once he was done the message was sent. Leo sat there waiting for a reply to come. As if on time the unread message pinged causing him to smirk. He read the reply email before deleting everything and getting back into bed. He cuddled up to Kitty before falling asleep.
The next morning Leo and Kitty slept in until ten in the morning. Leo woke up first and hopped into the shower. As he was getting out he looked at Kitty who was sitting up on the bed rubbing her eyes. \"How was your sleep, Sweetie?\" He walked over and kissed her forehead dripping a little water on her cheek.
Kitty reached out and grabbed his towel before trying to dry his hair. \"You will catch a cold if you do not dry your hair properly, Darling.\"
Leo stopped her hands and gently pushed her back down on the bed. \"I am not worried about getting a cold. I am more resilient than I look. I am more worried about you. How is your shoulder doing?\" He kissed her lips before pulling back and staring deep into her eyes.
\"It is a little tender but it is not like it was before. I will be able to do the shoot with minimal issues. I do believe that there will be a lot of photos taken. Might need to even use the pool.\" Kitty touched Leo's cheek.
Leo took her hand and kissed the palm. \"I do not mind. They can use any part of the outside or inside but not my study or the dungeon. I don't exactly want the world to see that part of my life.\"
Kitty blushed, \"I will make sure that those areas are off-limits. I do not want you to get exposed. I will not let them in my study either. I want that area to just be mine. I know that there are things that we both are afraid of and I agree that if someone were to see the symbols of the books we have we could get spotted either by hunters or supernaturals. Such a pain in the ass.\"
Leo pulled the blanket down and ran his fingers up her sides. \"Sweetie, I think you should get up soon though. We slept longer than expected and it is already past ten in the morning. You need to eat something and wash up.\" he sat up before standing. He picked her up and was careful about her shoulder while carrying her into the bathroom.
Kitty wrapped her good arm around Leo's neck and relaxed. \"It will be okay, all I need to do is shower. They will provide all the outfits I will need to wear, my makeup will be done professionally, and so will my hair.\"
Leo set her down in the tub of warm water. \"I prepared this for you so that you would not need to wait. Have a good bath and I will get myself ready to go to work. Ugh, what I wouldn't give to stay home today as well.\"
\"Thank you for this Darling. I will be out shortly. Go ahead and get yourself ready. I will try to not take too long.\" Kitty smiled and grabbed the bar of soap and started scrubbing her body down.
Leo gazed at her for a few minutes before leaving and going back into the bedroom. He dries his hair a little more with her words echoing in his mind and then gives it a quick comb. He changed into his normal work outfit. 'She is so brave but is she really okay right now? I worry that she is putting too much pressure on herself.'
